I want to know how anyone can give Taylor 7 rounds though. Catterall won 5 of first 6. There aren’t 7 rounds to give after he nearly took Josh’s head off in 11 and thats ignoring all the other close rounds which you could easily give to Jack.
Jack edged the punch stats but anyone who has been watching boxing for any length of time will not be able to tell you Taylor won. His punches were short, arm shots and never had Catterall in too much trouble. On the opposite end Catterall was rocking his head back with the jab, landing massive left hands and controlling the action and tempo for the most part.

This faux outrage needs to stop. Right many won clearly, he’s beat him twice.

He didn't win, though. So it doesn't matter. He was schooled, for the second time.

Don’t listen to the crazies. Caterall won but everyone is making out it’s a robbery because the cards were too wide. Very strange, ever experienced anything like it. I had it very close couldn’t complain draw.

I only have lazy, do nothing, catterall about 4 rounds max.
You don’t win rounds going backwards all the time and being negative, just having 20sec bursts. Impossible! No aggression, no ring generalship, just overall poor.

I was disappointed in Taylor too as he should be classes above that club level stuff but he’s probably getting old and the head clashes didn’t help

When is comes down to it, Taylor won all 4 belts in the division and Catterall is still the Chorley Area Champion.

Time for him to get in with Teo Lopez and show the great USA public what he has.

    Hit and don't get hit.

I think Jack did quite ok given the above.

Taylor looked gaunt around the eyes. Haven't seen any of the build up, the 1st time I viewed him was as they entered the ring.

Catterall boxed beautifully. His ability to duck and weave his way out of trouble in the corner was superb when trapped. Landed a beautiful consistent jab all night with some big punches when required.

Catterall is quite simply Kryptonite for Josh, his Achilles Heel.

Josh looks spent... and he knows it. He'll be chasing #3 for the retirement clout.

Well Done to Jack. Done Lancashire proud.

Depends how much it'll cost him. Lopez would be a decent fight but unless they fund him to come to the UK it's not going to make a lot of money. DAZN UK might have bankrolled last night but I doubt the US end will be as willing, especially without a story to it.
