Its too hard. Too many variables. Power, defensive footwork, offensive footwork, defense (head movement and glove blocking), combination punching, hand speed, foot speed, stamina, body punching, punching variety. For example, Joe Louis Power: 9.5 Defensive Footwork : 8 Offensive footwork : 8 Defense : 7 Combination punching : 10 Handspeed: 10 Footspeed : 7 Stamina : 10 Body Punching : 9 Punching Variety: 9.5 Total : 88 or 8.8 For example, Usyk Power: 8 Defensive Footwork : 10 Offensive footwork : 10 Defense : 9 Combination punching : 8 Handspeed: 8 Footspeed : 8.5 Stamina : 10 Body Punching : 7.5 Punching Variety: 9.5 Total : 88.5 or 8.85 It would take too much time for me to do it. I might get to it some other time.
Fury is the modern day Bowe, looks good, should've lost to McDermott (Golota losses), 34 wins but nobody of note during reign besides one name (Wilder/Holyfield), ducks the big fight (AJ/tried to duck Usyk / Ducked Lewis)..
Look how mad my list has got you. I might not be intelligent enough but at least I'm not some pathetic troll who keeps on making accounts on a boxing forum. Sad act.
It's hard for me to rate because you have totally different styles. But I would say Marciano has the least amount of skills out of every Heavyweight in that roster although he probably has the best stamina. Holmes, Usyk, Lewis, are the most technically skilled fighters. Tyson and Bowe are the best inside fighters. Ali is the most athletic fighter. Wladimir and Louis are probably the single hardest punchers on the list.
What does skill mean? They were all skilled in different ways. Usyk has crazy ring iq and adaptability. Wladimir had impeccable timing and distance control. Joe Louis had textbook perfect punching technique. Holmes had a crazy good jab and could mix it up in close or fight at range. Rocky was slow but a great reader of his opponents. Evander was quick and dynamic, could put shots together really well in the pocket. Ali was another great reader of opponents and lightning quick and accurate. Lennox could do a little bit of everything. Tyson's offensive abilities couldn't be beat. Riddick Bowe? Yeah, he was a bit of a dumbass to be fair.
A lot of those fighters wouldn't get dropped by a body shot, and then roll around for 5 mins holding there nuts. They also wouldn't lose to Shawn Porter in the amateurs.
In terms of skill….this is difficult, because we view skill differently I would imagine. It’s in no way a reflection of an order of how I would rate them in terms of greatness either. Holmes Usyk Holyfield Ali Louis Lewis Wlad Tyson Bowe Marciano
