I watched round 12 again, and scored it 29 - 19 for Usyk.

Lame take from a scatterbrained sissy.

In his previous fight Fury made Ngannou look better than Wlad. No amount of Fury not training properly explained that.

His 3rd fight with Chisora was also far less impressive than his 2nd (much lower output, significantly less movement, no switch hitting, hit Chisora more than in fight 2 while doing less damage, absorbed a lot more punches, less conclusive stoppage) and Chisora 3 was a significantly diminished version of Chisora. That was also 18-odd months (which with Fury means a year and a half of alcohol, drugs, inconsistent training etc.) and two fights of wear prior to this.

Given that context I expected Usyk to win and was happy he got the decision.

Think Fury got so up for this fight that he over compensated and calmed his nerves too much with the early fight jitteryness and having fun. Meanwhile Usyk was focused fully on the task knew he had to reserve everything and give everything. Usyk could barely walk back to his changing rooms and was very calm pre fight. Fury was having a lot of fun and I think could have won early rounds without his playfulness. Sloppy late and almost got stopped but looked ok after the fight.

Just needs to stay fit and get focused properly for the rematch. He'll cringe watching himself throw that combo that got him caught in rnd 9.

Rematch Fury will be better with his energy conversation. It's no surprise he got caught out on it...he's been so out of shape for so long.
