No he just doesn't have the body of work at Heavyweight. Six total fights in the division. 3 Excellent wins and 3 non descript wins. Witherspoon is just filler. Chisora is at best a gate keeper and Dubois is OK.
Usyk is 37 now and showing signs of slippage its unlikely he stays and wins long enough to make a huge dent in the division. But if he rematched Fury and won again and topped it off with say a Parker win. I could see a case for some people to put him in top 10 for sure. Not saying he would make my own list. But Fury 2x, Joshua 2x, Parker, Dubois. Would be interesting.

I think Usyk beats Ali, Holyfield, Lewis, Foreman and Klitschkos.

    For me ATG top 3:
    Mike Tyson
    Oleksandr Usyk
    Ali

Of course you can’t use his cruiserweight record in this discussion.

This is about his place in history as a heavyweight. And if you think he gets anywhere near the top of the tree with his heavyweight record then you’re a moron.

Define heavyweight outside of the arbitrary label of the division because you're stacking him against the likes of Ali who's common opponent was probably a lot lighter than the Cruisers of today, who weigh at 200lbs and step into the ring rehydrated in the 210s. And Marciano counts to you i'm sure, despite fighting 190lbers?

You have been posting here for about 18 months. Is that when you took up following boxing?

    Are you stupid mate?

Heavyweight as in the division he fights in. As compared to other guys who fought in the heavyweight division.

I would have thought it very bloody obvious and not in need of an explanation.

As much as I like Usyk and think that he has an argument H2H against almost anybody, I don't think his body of work is big enough to be a top 10 ATG on "greatness".

All he can do is fight and beat the best of his era which he has done. I also believe Fury and Joshua would destroy a lot of ATG's. Anyone that think 6'1 180 pound Dempsey is doing anything with Tyson Fury is just insane.

Usyk has a whole dominant career at CW, it makes no sense to leave out more than half his career to rank him solely among HWs. He's an ATG boxer period. It'd be like ranking Mayweather purely as a welterweight.

Absolutely because those 20 creampuffs are extra training camps, fights, fights where he'd risk the chance of taking career changing damage before ever reaching this point. He had a shortcut at HW. Great feat and became undisputed no doubt but not much meat on the bones of his HW resume yet. He's still got time though.

Usyk took up boxing at 15 y/o

He didn't even turn pro until he was almost 27 y/o

In a 10 year career he has unified the CW division in 15 fights

The HW division in 22 fights

Winning and unifying all his world titles sans 1 in his opponent's backyards sans his last title which if we're being honest might as well have been in his opponent's backyard

He has never had home advantage in a single one of his world title fights or fights at the world level with the exception of once and that was fought in a neighbouring country to his own

He has always sought out the best and has never ducked or dodged anyone

Not only that but he has routinely sought out the best in their backyards where the deck is stacked against him or heavily against him

He wins all his fights via clean boxing. No fouling, no deck stacking, no ducking certain styles or punchers, no stinking out the joint, no refusing to sign on the dotted line unless the playing field is stacked in his favour

He's been exemplary and everything he has achieved amateur and pro has not only been achieved the right and honourable way but it's also been achieved the hard way, treading a path so many others and other greats would never even contemplate treading

Apply the aforementioned to your current favs and many of those who came before him and see how the shoe doesn't fit for so many of them

He unified the HW division at 37 y/o for goodness sake and he's been past his prime for many years and unlike many of the HW greats who were often the bigger man he's never been the bigger man. In fact, he's been the much or way smaller one every single time

The hunger his detractors and haters feel to discredit him by ever so predictably picking him to lose hypothetical match ups vs HWs and HW greats of previous eras even eclipses their arrogance when they were so confident he could never slay the giants of today.

They have to resort to hypothetical match ups because he proved them all wrong and made them all look so stupid when it comes to actual match ups that can actually materialize.

I got some hypotheticals for you and if you don't like the taste of them you know where you can shove them

Prime Usyk takes all the greats to slick school on their own soil and you can take that to the hypothetical bank and that's some real dubbly bubbly real talk

And had he turned pro at HW and campaigned in the division during his prime years when all his attributes were at their zenith he would've absolutely toyed with these giants of today in his sleep too

He's the GOAT and no matter what happens from here on out he will always be the GOAT. The GOAT human and the GOAT boxer. Deal with it or get dealt with :deal:

This is the greatest thing you've ever seen and it is as GOAT as GOAT gets
