That fight was actually my first exposure to Arbachakov and made me an instant fan of his. He was like a Russian assassin. He had a great combination of speed, punch selection, footwork, power, and beautiful technique. Such an exquisite fighter to watch.
Brutal. He finished him with slide rule punch selection from range, in close, head, body, left right... Impressive.
I recall watching that fight fight back in 2009. Most boxing videos that were posted a long time ago tend to be removed over time due to copyright claims. Some fights that are hard to find would be reuplodaded at random.
I had a huge boxing channel once that got deleted. A thousand plus matches and 13,500 subs. Wish I hadn't lost it but Youtube sucks and doesn't care in the least about preserving this kind of stuff so whatever.
What was your boxing channel? I’m pretty sure I was following it. There’s other channels that ended up being removed because of that same reason. When it comes to preserving old fights for all the fans to see and appreciate YouTube really does whatever they can to screw boxing fans over and it’s sickening.
I called myself the Analog Video Shop. If I'm remembering correctly they got me for 1990's heavyweight stuff, USA Tuesday Night Fights I think?
Yes I remember following that channel back then, I’m sorry that it got deleted. Do you have any desire to open a new boxing channel at some point? Or is it not worth dealing with YouTube’s troubles?
