Ingo knocked Patterson with one punch and also knocked Machen in first round, which Liston couldn't, and no it wan't an accident.

but in the second and third fights, Patterson won against Ingo and lost against Liston in the same way. I don't know what you're implying. That Ingo would have a better chance with Marciano than Liston?

Yeah because Ingo had bad chin, was fat and overweight.
But Ingo was the first one to Kayo Patterson.
Nope, I'm implying that Liston wasn't the first one who crushed Patterson, many fighters could repeat that too but guess they praise Liston for doing that.
I think Foreman,Dempsey and Tyson would beat Patterson as fast as Liston.
Ali sad that Patterson wont go more than 3 or 4 rounds with Marciano because his chin wont hold up with him.

yes, but it's the facts that count. Liston defeated Prime Patterson faster, easier and more times than anyone else. I also think, like you, that there were several exceptional boxers who could repeat this feat, but it was not Marciano.

    Couldn't crush Patterson.

Johansson was 2lbs lighter for the2nd Patterson fight than he had been for the first.
Now produce the quote from Ali.

Ingo did not knock Patterson out with one punch!
He floored him 7 times before the referee stopped it with Patterson in the act of rising after the last knockdown.

Machen was caught cold against Ingo knocked down and the fight should have been stopped then but the incompetent referee allowed Machen to take volleys of punches while he was trapped in a corner.Ingo did not honour the return clause.
Machen fought a defensive fight against Liston, basically just surviving.
Do you ever watch these fights you make these silly statements about?

Can't believe I'm not in the running. I think we need a Golovkin vs Ali thread to get the old fogeys excited.
