And just for the sake of it ... add in his amateur/WSB record with wins against heavyhitters/SHWs in or near their prime ... Nistor/Majijov/Joyce ... etc.
Some, but again, you broadly missed the point. Briedis at least beat Charr. Bellew had the two wins against Haye at heavy. Hunter was a legit contender. Huck took Povetkin life and death.
Yes I was actually thinking about that earlier Usyk is actually 28-0 at HW if you count his CW fights and WBS ones at SHW if you want to count them as pro fights. Undefeated unlike the other pretenders to his GOAT throne If people are going to compare Usyk to HWs who fought in eras where the CW division didn't exist even though those HWs were essentially CWs themselves or were generally beating CW or even LHW sized ''HWs'' then they're actually penalizing him for it even though deep down they all know damn well he's the GOAT
Ok. But were Briedis, Bellew, Hunter, Huck, Gassiev, ever solid Top 10 Heavyweights? Maybe Top 15 or Top 20. Basically if you want to merge Usyk’s Cruiserweight reign with his Heavyweight run his Cruiserweight title becomes the equivalent of a regional/domestic Heavyweight title.
I knew I could count on you Serge to come correct Glad someone did it, that dude was annoying as hell and not even a effective or entertaining troll.
Again, I think you are broadly missing the point that heavyweight champs have always taken on quality guys from LHW or cruiser anyway, but again, I am not really trying to convince you. That is just how I see it. Is he a great heavyweight, or a great fighter who happens to now be heavy and is beating the best heavies of his day? Up to you, really.
I like Usyk but his Heavyweight resume is to small he can't be the Goat but if we talk pound for pound than yes.
I think Usyk is P4P #1 right now. And he is a two division Undisputed Champion. And an ATG. But he is not the GOAT at Heavyweight or in general. And to claim his wins at Cruiserweight are really elite level Heavyweight wins is a stretch.
Tyson fanboys are hypocrites they like ignoring Holmes age and how he was literally inactive for over 2 years than given a very few weeks training camp. Yet the same fanboys use the most garbage of excuses when Tyson lost in his 20s.
Lol, how about stupid 26 year old posters like yourself that never boxed before and know nothing boxing stay of this forum while adults converse. Saying a guy like Uysk with an amateur pedigree like he has isn't skilled is about as dumb as it gets.
Thanks. I always come correct and even when I don't I can blag it in my sleep Schoolyard level trolling
