    My overwhelming thoughts were that the interview reflected terribly on BBBoC. He’s not affiliated with them now so can speak openly. But his outlook indicated that he’d had little to no training from the Board in terms of pre fight conscious or sub conscious bias, which was really alarming. Saying that he he didn’t know who Catterall was is weird but not really an issue. Saying I thought ‘we might have a shock on our hands’ after two rounds is def not OK. He seemed oblivious to all of this as well.

    I’d really like to know what work the Board are doing to try and help referees have a neutral mindset going into the fights.

    This is literally what the BBBoC is like. They need modernising we have moved on from the 1980's.
