I'm not into Joshua. I made another thread about how Furys resume is better than Joshuas.

You're just obsessed with the idea of Usyk being the best and it's lame

So now you are saying stuff I have not even said. Please quote where I said Usyk is the best. The obsession is you.

    Hypothetically,

Step 1: Saudis make Usyk v Fury II and Fury wins
Step 2: Saudis make Fury v Joshua and Joshua wins
Step 3: Saudis make Joshua v Fury II and Joshua wins

That, would be the shortest route to put him back on top through strength of resume.

In a way that he gets countless opportunities and even if he doesn't deserve it...

You said that Joshua can't be considered better if Usyk retires

It's not so unlikely. The question would be who would be considered greater Joshua or Fury in that scenario

Who would you like to see him fight?

People are obsessed with splitting his legacy between weights in a way we don't see with Pac or many others.
The guy has only had something like 22 pro fights in total. A third of his career has been heavyweight.
The fact that he is undisputed having fought the best in seven fights should be put in the 'for' column when arguing his greatness.

Not if he goes 4-0 against the consensus top 2 challenges and sails off as the undisputed undefeated king of the division.

The answer is simple: he can't.

I completely agree. It's remarkable how he's managed to achieve so much in just 22 pro fights, with a significant portion of those at heavyweight. The obsession with splitting his legacy between weights often overshadows his incredible accomplishments. The fact that he's fought the best and became undisputed champion in just seven fights is a testament to his greatness. That would be a thrilling matchup and a great addition to his already impressive career.

Hopkins was 40 years old when he lost to Taylor age was a big factor to why he lost those fights, he wasn't as fast as before and he couldn't throw 60-70 punches a round like he did in his prime. So he smartly moved up to 175 against bigger yes, but also slower and less active fighters.

In contrast Joshua was prime when he lost both times to Usyk. Other than beating Usyk in a 3rd fight and showing a new skillset in doing so, there's nothing he can do to prove he's the best of this era. Now if he beats Fury once Usyk has finished with him, he can secure his place as the best Brit and the best below Usyk, but that's the best he can hope for. That would still be an amazing feat.

Frank Warren here is to blame. He has done a brilliant job in promoting Dubois to be fair. He's taken a domestic level heavyweight and secured him a title shot at Trevor Bryan for the WBA regular belt that put Dubois in a position for a mandatory title shot. Warren has done so much with so little in Dubois and now Dubois again is in a position to fight on a big card in Riyadh against the IBF mandatory in Hrgovic, which if he somehow wins, however unlikely, would secure him a Joshua fight.

Fury was retired for half of 'his era'. Joshua and Wilder were running the HW show during those years.

Usyk will have unified all the belts the hard way and gone 4-0 against the clear top two in the division.

AJ will never be able to say the same.

Hearn's ideal plan is to get a third fight with Usyk, have AJ perform slightly better, steal the fight on the cards, then have all the belts.
This is genuine a possibility, and don't be surprised if Usyk walks into this trap like all the other EE's. He almost got done the second time.

With this they will claim superiority over Fury and Wilder (assuming Fury doesn't win in October, which still isn't out of the question), and also claim to at least be on level with Usyk, having a win and then all the old, shot gold medallists (Wlad, Povetkin, Pulev).
Propaganda will take care of the rest.

Absolutely AJ can become, in the eyes of the rabble, the best HW of this generation.
