Vicious. His KO over Wayne Powell is my favorite.

Joe Louis first fight with Buddy Baer. The first knockdown in the 6th round Louis lands an overhand right that spins Buddy Baer around on the spot in a kind of 360 degree colossal trip to the canvas.

Tony Tubbs reaction to Mike Tysons final left hook that turned Tubbs whole body in a qu££r jig toward the ring corner was something to see.

How the body reacts to the brain being shut down or short-circuited is not predictable. That’s why I dismiss anytime someone claims someone didn’t react ‘properly’ to a shot. And it can be a glancing shot, too, or a punch from someone who isn’t normally regarded as a hard puncher. Especially it seems to me shots to the temple or back of the head (even above/behind the ear) tend to produce reactions people for some reason internet as ‘not legit.’

This wasn’t one of those, but I watched Ray Leonard-Andy Price the other night. Leonard hit him and Andy wobbled a bit and Ray jumped on him like Price had disturbed a hornet’s nest.

Ray landed a ton of punches in a flash, backed up and landed some more, then put him down.

Price seemed out of it, but he got to one knee, put his hands on the bottom rope and looked as if he was about to pull himself up … then just keeled over face-down. It’s like it took a few seconds for his brain to completely register to his body that he was out cold.

I just had a look at Earnie Shavers knockdown of Larry Holmes in their 2nd fight. I cannot believe how quickly Holmes got to his feet. Comical also was Shavers swing wildly and almost throwing himself to the canvas in the aftermath. Tip of the hat to Holmes, In his prime, he was very good at recovering ind fighting back after taking some haqrd shots. Here the knockdown.

Ruddock laughing when Bonecrusher put him down.

Morrison crumbling when Mercer's punches no longer held him up.

Judah trying to no that he was ok as he was doing the chicken dance before he collapsed.
