What do you think of John McGlothlin view on Joe Louis?

Ha! Even proves more of a John that he is a fraud. To be honest, I hope someone like you or Pedro could expose McGlothlin on his antics on slandering on fighters. Even more ironic that he exposed another guy called Bob Garrett who was making **** up such as his credentials and where he coached at. John is no better than him. He just thinks citing his sources will give him a freebree. Just because you cite your sources, don't mean you have your biased opinion in there somewhere. And his buddies are like mobsters. They deceive the people and are buddy to buddies. John like Pedro said wouldn't dare put **** in the boxing forum. He would get backlashed quickly. Not to mention, he said Joe Louis shouldn't be called a hero during WW2 as he claims that Louis got PR instead of combat for the war and made a deal in doing exhibition matches.

 

To be fair in the first time around, Ali came off a 3 year exile and that was his only 3rd fight since he was back. Basically the original plan was to get a few tune-up fights, then train for a year then fight Frazier. But Ali fought dangerous or decent guys after his exile. Crazy how he went the distance with Frazier in that fight. But the JHL part I agree. You beat the contenders, you meet the champion. Simple as that. Yet people make excuses that Louis never fought many black fighters during his reign. Literally most of the contenders at the time was when Louis was not even active such as the years 1943 and 1945.
