It would be a really bad look and reformulate the way many people view his career. Remember how untouchable Roy was? Fans can say losses at the end of your career don't erase what you achieved in your prime years but that's not true. Fury already lost to a middleweight and now people are questioning how good he was in his prime. If Wilder gets Banged out this Saturday one of the major chairlegs holding up Fury's shaky career gets pulled away. Fury and his fans better be praying Wilder gets the win because Wilder's resume ain't strong enough to cope with a loss like that even this late in his career.

Was Usyk magically motivated and better when he bounced Fury off the canvas 2 years later?

Was Ngannou only "an MMA fighter" after Joshua bashed his head in?

Exactly mate. Ain't like Wilder is losing to guys he would have sparked in his prime. Well maybe he is, but if he never fought them in his prime how can you make a comparison?

Fury is clearly a very dangerous elite heavyweight at his best. He's also clearly performed way below his capacity for years and frankly I'm surprised that some journeyman hasn't cleaned him up simply because he didn't bother training. I think his legacy will be a huge might-have-been. That said: at one point he was winning against Usyk and looking pretty good. There's clearly hope for the rematch and if he beats Usyk he's back in the saddle again.

I don't think he's in the GOAT conversation regardless if he doesn't start stacking wins over names. It's hard to beat Louis with just Wilder, Wlad, Usyk, and Joshua.

Marciano's a GOAT. Tyson's just very good. Could be great with Usyk and Joshua, but GOAT? Nah. Need a few more names I reckon.

It won't change the legacy he has already created, but it will mess with Furys self created and expounded invincibility nonsense.

I am not a Fury fanboy in anyway, in fact i hate his trash, foolhardy verbals, and belief he is entertaining outside the squared circle, but as with all boxers who win legit World titles I respect him for becoming the champ, so any future losses will not change my view of his career.

His stans will treat him like Mike Tyson stans treat Mike. Every time Tyson is brought up and we discuss his actual defeat we hear load of BS excuses, coulda, shoulda, would a whole bunch of nothing what if this version of Fury fought this guy blah blah.

That's exactly what will happen this guy has delusional fanboys.

You can’t box someone’s nuts off throwing single digits of punches per round. That ‘fight’ was an abomination. A disgrace.

Hypothetically he’s the 3rd best of this era. Certainly not one of the greatest HWs ever like ESPN was saying after he beat White.

If that happens my opinion is this:

    1. The best of Fury as a defensive boxer was against Klitschko and the best of Fury as a knock-out artist was against Wilder 2
    2. Those two prime versions of Fury beat any opponent including Usyk and Joshua
    3. The reason Fury lost against Usyk and Joshua was mainly because he was boxing for Saudi money - not titles or pride - and was not in his prime mentally or physically, nor in his corner
    4. Usyk may be a more professional and consistent fighter and Joshua may be on a greater comeback journey, but 5-10 years ago I still pick Fury in his prime on his day to raise his game beyond the level of his opponent
    5. Fury never planned to fight Joshua after AJ was beaten by Usyk, and he never planned to fight Usyk because he considered Usyk a cruiserweight not of his era of heavyweight boxing - in other words he only really dreamt of taking the titles off Klitschko and shutting Wilder up when Wilder knocked him while he retired
    6. You can see Fury in one sense losing because he is erratic, toxic narcissistic, bipolar, whatever, but on the other hand his father and co. clearly gave him headaches and mental issues that other fighters didn't have
    7. I reiterate I believe the Fury that beat Wilder 2 also stops the AJ that got beat by Ruiz, and the Fury that beat Klitschko on points avoids damage from Usyk

Fury and Wilder conned most of the forums. Just shows the lack of real boxing knowledge and most importantly the skills this fighters posses.
Has always says that Wilder is a total bum. Fury is top level, mainly because of his size, height and reach. He is a nightmare cause of this, but he is very beatable, that's why he has taken easy fight after easy fight.
That's why he didn't go after the Number 1 guy in the division AJ, but decide to build his career on cheap talk, and goes after Wilder.

And Usyk legacy goes up big time after tonight. Even though Dubois should have been DQ like 10 times tonight. Can't stand this corruption in boxing. Going to be the end for me very soon.
You headbutt someone intentionally in the UFC you will get a straight point deduction, you do it twice, and you will be DQed, and no one will question it or say a thing.

In Boxing Dubois is headbutting Hrgovic like 20-30 times, open huge cuts on both eyes, and nothing. Commentators just mention it, and stay silent after it.
Referee obviously corrupt, paid actor for Warrens.
So many negative energy with Boxing even in a night where i don't cheer for anyone, and just want to enjoy a good night of boxing.
I get mad and angry, what's the point really?
