Poll - Who wins? Dubois or Zhang?

I will be routing for Zhang. Hrgovic landed easy on Dubois so Zhang should be able to KO him. If Dubois can keep standing until halfway the fight and set that same high pace as in the Hrgovic fight anything can happen though.

I love this fight.

 

It's a 50/50 fight. Zhang has real power and if Dubois gets too aggressive early Zhang will stop him. If Dubois boxes early he will outpoint Zhang for the decision.

IMO Dubois is too hittable to survive the early rounds against Zhang who hits far harder than Hrgovic and is a sneaky counter puncher. Zhang KO within 4.

But if he did manage to survive those early rounds, he'd grind Zhang eventually down and KO him.

 

Dubois showed a good chin against Hrgovic but Zhang has next level power and Dubois is still far too hittable even though he does move his head a little now. I can't see him lasting long enough to take it late where Zhang would be vulnerable. But he has a punchers chance, Zhang has been dropped before and Dubois can punch.

Dubois is still ****. Beating a fat lump who hadn't fought in about 20 years and a guy who somehow manages to move slower than Valuev doesn't now make him some world level contender. Plus he never really "stopped" the guy, it was waved off due to a bad cut which I'm fairly certain came from a few headbutts.

 

Personally I feel Dubois should not fight either AJ or Zhang next and let them fight each other. Dubois should face Joe Parker next then look to fight and win the world title next year. There were things in the Hrgovic fight he did that won’t be good for him against AJ and Zhang so would advise some caution in match making

Dubois has showed great offensive abilities in some fights, but he's easy to hit, and Zhang will catch him in the 1st half of the fight.

 

Terrible matchup for Dubois. He's not surviving Zhang's shots.

Zhang is solid enough to take Dubois' offense but Dubois not solid enough to take Zhang's. Dubois was befuddled by Joyce's extremely slow, long left jab and pretty much destroyed by it. Zhang's quicker left hand would have him in absolute hell, then a right hook that can take down a mountain like Joyce and make Wilder do a MJ spin...............yeah I wouldn't give Dubois much chance here.

This could be an easy fight for Dubois if his corner gives him the right advice and he follows it. Don't try to exchange with Zhang until Zhang gasses, which should happen in the latter third of the fight. Then turn it up a notch and either outpoint Zhang or stop him.

But once a quitter always a quitter. It will resurface. Zhang by KO or by Dubois taking Knees

 

I agree that Zhang has some serious power. But, this is Dubois' fight to lose. Zhang looked terrible on Saturday night. He was so slow, and, threw so few punches that a great many heavyweights would likely beat him now. (See the Joseph Parker fight just a few months ago) In fact, Wilder is one of the few I would pick Zhang over due to Deontay's weak chin and lack of boxing skills.
