Yep if Hall went pro back then he easily would’ve been Australian heavyweight champion. I thought Gal beat him but you could see that Hall was a better boxer but just being out of the ring and in his 40’s he just didn’t have enough for an active pressure fighter like Gal. If Hall was younger and active he easily would’ve beaten Gallen and SBW.
Rohan Murdock stopped Emmanuel Danso inside 3 rounds at the weekend on the Gold Coast. Danso was stopped in the 1st round in his previous fight against Paulo Aokuso and has now been stopped 8 times.
Jim Kambosos has said 4 cities are vying for GK comeback fight . No opponent yet but the name that keeps coming up is Britain Mark Chamberlain .
Pretty tough opponent for a comeback fight. You got to respect Kambosos he doesn't take easy fights. If I was advising him I would get him an easier fight for a comeback somebody who is decent but not world level like Jackson England, Nathaniel May or Ibrahim Balla.
Criminally under reported! Nobody knows who Jai is. Shows us how little the media actually follows sport and it's more to do with who is pulling the strings behind the scenes.
Would be a good matchup. Not sure what weight they would agree to though? Murdock looks like he fought Danso at a catchweight between super middleweight and light heavyweight and Tapia, although normally a super middleweight, fought last at middleweight.
There's an article on the boxing scene that talks up a potential crossroads for Parker Opetaia down the line. Obviously can't share it here
Might be some good matchups coming up on July 20th on the Gold Coast. Names being mentioned Ogden, Tait, Bella, Biggs.
Decent card shaping for July 20th on the Gold Coast : Bella-Tait for IBF Australasian title. Ogden-Yang rematch - can Ogden avenge his shock KO loss? Biggs-Haywood Nantes-Beekin
Liam Paro : “I always have a quick look at the other guys in the division, but styles make fights. My trainer Alfie Di Carlo has had his eye on him (Matias) for about four or five years now and he said our paths would cross, and here we are. The day has come and this is it, time to show the world what I am all about."
