Wilder has lost 4 of his last 5 fights.
Wilder took horrible punishment in two Fury fights. Zhang just KO'd him.

People are still talking about him cashing out some more?

I dont think anyone wants him to continue. Wilder himself just refuse to retire. This is more of a question of what should he do if he continues. Retirement after brutal KOs and making 100 millions should be the thing to do.

I'm going to say I'm against this move, mainly because I don't want to take the risk that having Wilder compete in the weight class will somehow give it more credibility.

He should move down to cruiser then.

Then he'd need to share the ring with beasts like Briedis and Opetaia.

He's been fighting at Bridger most of his career so that would be a piece of cake to make. But there are fighters there that could beat him, so his legacy takes a big hit.
Cruiser? He could make that weight. But even w/his chicken legs he'd have to boil down some. At his age that would weaken him. A loss or two there and his legacy takes an even bigger hit. His options are slim and none - and Slim just left town.

From what I saw vs. Parker and Zhang, you can stick a fork in Wilder. But his ego and stupidity...

Chambers has a fight scheduled in Boxrec. Doubt it will go though, but it is scheduled.

Wilder should retire. But if he was going to continue, bridgerweight makes more sense to me than heavyweight.

Can you imagine trying to be the greatest Bridgerweight champion of all time? Wow...Like tryna be the dumbest motherflipper that ever lived, man.

Not gonna happen - he's all about the money right now and heavy is where the interest is.

Besides, it'd be more embarrassing to go down and get smashed up by the Okoliepus, for example.

The only real reason to do it is that bridger is an escape lane for guys who aren't good enough to cut it at contender level in heavy or cruiser divisions... And Wilder is and always was in that bracket... But there's no saying he'd actually be competitive even there - decrease his punch resistance and give him guys who are faster and it's not hard to imagine him struggling.

Have you seen the crapolla at Bridger? Outside of Okolie there isn't a single name of anyone worth a ****, and Okolie isn't really either.

Actually, to be fair, Muslim Gadzhimagomedov is a decent prospect at #6 in the WBA, and Nistor is rated #16 in the WBC.
