Listening to boxing fans... you make it out as if everyone sucks...

Their opposition is poor, they are weight bullies, they have bad resumes, they have flaws, they use IVs, they dont belong in top 10.... it goes on and on..

So let me ask.. Who exactly is this boxer who is perfect? I have yet to see an overall consensus agree that a Boxer is actually legit.

who has ever argued perfect? there are maybe a dozen COMPLETE boxers in the game, if thats what you mean by perfect. some are still fighting at elite level, a few have dropped off. the rest have obvious flaws, and not strong enough in other areas to compensate.

Sugar Ray Leonard was probably the closest man to it.

Oscar De La Hoya in the 90’s was as perfect a boxer as there could be. He had all the attributes to make it to the highest level, speed, power, excellent jab, combination punching, height, reach as well as a granite chin and willingness to fight the best. Then there’s the fact that he was an Olympic gold medalist and a promoters dream due to the female fanbase that he brought to the table.

Perfect boxer to me is someone with great technique/power that doesn’t do many mistakes.
    Lennox Lewis
    Monster Inoue
Is 2 that comes to mind. It’s a lot of others also of course.

I'd say GGG is, on a technical level at least, the most complete boxer I've ever seen. Most tend to conflate him as a face first pressure fighter but he was a natural counterpuncher and more traditional Soviet stylist in his early career before Abel Sanchez added on the pressure fighter aspect. Cutting off the ring, pressuring an opponent, breaking a guy down, countering off the back foot, keeping good foot positioning, effectively controlling range with his jab, his feint game, and his punch selection were all top-notch imo.
I'd say Chocolatito is pretty inscrutable on a resume level and in terms of what the original post brings up I guess.

There is no such thing as the perfect fighter

    Every man is beatable

Every top level guy knows factually that on any given night they could be beat

But mentally once they've done a camp and locked in they don't believe anyone can beat them.

When you first start boxing it's not about that. It's about pushing through the discomfort of training and getting punched. The desire to get better. And trust me 90% of people fail there alone which is why all boxers especially the top tier deserve respect. Hell I quit boxing because I messed up my first sparring partner and felt so bad. Battering another man was supposed to be the the ultimate I experienced straight away and it wasn't what I thought it would be.
