Tyson's post prison career might be the most oddball **** we've ever seen in boxing.

-1995: First fight out of prison and McNeeley gets disqualified.
-1995: breaking his thumb and postponing the Buster Mathis jr. fight.
-1996: Seldon taking a dive.
-1997: Holyfield rematch ear bite.
-1999: first fight post ban with the Frans Botha armbar.
-1999: Orlin Norris no contest.
-2000: Lou Savarese and knocking down the ref after the stoppage.
-2000: Andrew Golota quit job, later deemed a no contest with Tyson testing positive for mary jane.
-2001: Brian Nielsen quitting on his stool.
-2002: Biting Lennox's leg during press conference.
-2003: Getting a face tattoo days before his bout with Clifford Etienne.
-2004: Tearing his knee against Danny Williams.
-2005: Quitting against Danny McBride.

 

He was neither a pioneer, nor the worst practitioner, of that particular game.

 

Isn't that also the fight where he said, "I broke my back ... spinal" afterward?

I remember Nigel Benn intimidating the ref to stop the fight against Iran Barkley by not listening to his commands and punching Iran in the break and acting crazy. Obviously also the rabbit punches against McLellan

The sportsmanship really took a nose dive in the last 10 yrs or so. Currently for me across the board it's Teo Lopez and Broner. Won't and don't watch either one anymore. Can't stand them.

They weren't going to let Floyd get DQ'd but if the roles were reversed that would have been Ortiz fate
