They should just have them fight during London’s gay pride event. It wouldn’t look out of place and I’m sure the paraders would lap it up.

Shows just how unique Naz was. showboating is one thing but the difference with Naz was he had pure dynamite in both hands. it did not matter if an opponent came to survive as Naz could showboat and he just had to touch them to get them hurt.

Naz could have the big entrance, showboat in the ring and most importantly send fans home happy with devastating KO's.

i think just like with Josh Kelly that Whittaker wont really get over with his style if cant knock opponents out. U box like that then you better close the show as showboating alone isnt enough to get over as a star.

I think the Whittaker novelty train is about to hit the end of the track.
He's got to do some KOs, he's not doing so.

    Very moderate show tonight.

Ben Whittaker is genuinely a brutal watch, I'm not even interested in seeing him get sparked, I'd rather just not see him.

    Jack Massey fair play

Main event was a shocker. Shalom has stuck all his cards in a division that is a smoking pile of turd.

I can't disagree with you, because when whittaker was on I switched over to the golf, I only watched the main card.

I do enjoy watching cbs, he's an honest fighter. Doesn't try and over state his ability, and anything he has, he's earned it through hard work and pure determination. Riakpore was shocking though, couldn't handle a bit of grit from his opponent.

Would I call it a **** event? Probably not, but it wasn't great, but then again, when was the last truly great boxing event in the UK anyway

Agree the fight was dross and very boring. Would have been fuming paying good money for tickets.

So glad I didn't buy tickets for last night. I was very close to going to watch it live but didn't. Wasn't impressed with the show. On paper, looked good but the likes of Azeez, Chamberlain, Whittaker & Riakporhe just didn't turn up.

And that's most of Boxxer's stable on the skids. CBS will lose when he steps up for a cashout fight and he looks sensible enough to take huge money then chuck it. That leaves Okolie who might just cause a bit of fun if he lets his hands go but you wouldn't bank on it. Of the original 2021 "new generation", Eubank, Hughie and Taylor have already gone elsewhere.

Clarke is still there but his big fights depend on other promoters and there won't be any favours. Who else? Buatsi? They're marketing Whittaker like a new Niaz but he has neither the personality nor the power.

Just watched some of the press conference. CBS looks like he's been dragged around Selhurst tied to the back of an old car.

Really have to take your hat off to Billiam-Smith

In my opinion he’s by far and away the most improved fighter in the UK. He’s dragged every single ounce of ability out of himself by working his nuts off day in day out, McGuigans done a brilliant job with him

I fell asleep during the Whitaker fight and only remembered I’d been watching it when I logged on here :)

So is Benavidez, plant, Pacheco etc. he’s a comfortable light heavy. But sometimes I get the impression the hard graft isn’t on the radar

The result of the main event last night is what happens when two boxers fight and the loser learns from the experience by taking risky, competitive fight to improve, whilst the winner stagnates by fighting easy touches and shagging Madonna.
