Marquez wins he feasted on aggressive come forward fighters he seemed to have more trouble vs boxers/movers.

I think Davis would probably floor Marquez at some point but overall I see Marquez overcoming a few sticky patches to stop Davis late or win a decision.

    Marquez... Not at all close.

Tank can bang, but against an ATG with a cast iron chin? He gets knocked out or loses a wide UD.

This is an 80/20 kind of fight, most likely - unless Tank actually does turn out to be much better than he's proved so far... But that looks unlikely

JMM but it’s a moot point. Tank would have avoided Marquez like the plague. Ducked him until JMM was in his 40’s and it still would be a close fight. JMM by KO, too tough and too legit. Not a cherry picking marketing creation like Tank. Also, Davis lost to Cruz and got a gift decision. JMM buries both guys in his prime.

I don't think Marquez had a cast iron chin he could be hurt and floored, when i think of iron chins i think of fighters like Chavez, Sanchez. I would say Marquez had a respectable chin but certainly not one of the stand out chins amongst the best fighters of all time around his weight. But Marquez certainly did excell in having great recuperative powers to recover from bad situations quickly.

It's pointless making mythical match ups with Gervonta VS All time greats cause he wouldn't fight any of them.

I mean, the question of the thread is so obvious...

The more interesting question is which plonker voted for Tank to win? :elefant:

Has to be Ellerbe or Olu, surely?

Bump this thread after Gervonta beats Shakur, Loma, Haney, Matias and leaves Teo facedown, asleep and drooling on the canvas. Then I'll pick JMM KTFO6 Davis.

JJM outboxes him and no chance Tank stops him, JMM went 42 rounds with Pac as well as many other punchers. Yeah he can be dropped and dropped hard but he always gets up like he just slipped over or something. When Katsidis caught him flush I thought damn, but JMM just got up like nothing had happened.

C'mon, man. Twink has been a pro 11 years and his best win is still Pedraza who Loma took on as a tune up seven months after shoulder surgery when he wasn't near 100%

You can't make an argument for Ryan being better than Pedraza, especially the version Twink fought

    Or Isaac Cruz either

    It's Pedraza
