I think that the Aussie fighting spirit needs to be recognized more the same way the Mexican style is recognized. In recent years the Aussie fighting spirit has been on full display win or lose most the Aussie lads are willing to leave it all in the ring.

Kambosos showed it against Teo going to his backyard and ending the take over then went into back to back fights with Haney and took on the great Lomachenko

Opetaia defeating Briedis and continuing to fight with a broken jaw

Paro going to Puerto Rico and dethroning the boogeyman Matias

Tim Tszyu refusing to quit and fighting Fundora with one of the worst cuts in recent times

Liam Wilson fighting and hurting the tough Navarrette and the referee in their fight. Then going back to the scene of the crime to fight Valdez.

The Moloney brothers have both taken on all comers and been in some wars. Stevie Spark has also had some wars the list goes on lads.

Can you hear the thunder?! You better run you better take cover!
    Let's OGG!

Always appreciated Aussie boxing. Underrated boxing region. I’m also a big admirer of Jeff Fenech and Lionel Rose.

Flaming and nationalistic trolling in an attempt to derail the thread.

I was at the Hopkins vs orneleas fight in Philly which was a set up to Jones 2 and remember fans talking about the upset because it happened in Australia time and I just couldn't believe it. Great upset still didn't spoil the rematch

Say what you want about their level but the Sydney lads don't give AF they will fight anyone.
Tszyu going back in with Fundora Kambosos going back in the deep end with Hitchins.
Win or lose you can't question the mentality. No retreat no surrender.
