So the December rematch with Fury will not be for undisputed (all the world titles).

However, the winner in December could fight the winner of Joshua-Dubois (if that fight happens in the fall) sometime in 2025.

How nice of Usyk to give his children Dubois and AJ a present

That will not make Fury a happy chappy, facing his conqueror again in December, but even if he wins (which he won't) then he still will not be the undisputed champ, nice one Mr Usyk.

Well technically only one of them can have Usyk’s present. How generous of Usyk.

Pretty lame that the Saudis made Usyk vacate the belt, in order to give AJ a shot to become a champion again. It's clear Fury-Joshua is the ultimate goal, so Usyk has to be like a man possessed and smash Belly into smithereens in December. It is clear as day they will try to job in the rematch.

How is it the Saudis’ fault that the IBF are enforcing their mandatory?

Blame the IBF. The Saudis have nothing to do with this.

The IBF is not enforcing it. Usyk did not need to vacate. He's doing it as a gift to his two children, Dubois and Joshua.

Dubois just became the mandatory, Usyk did not need to defend the belt until 2025.

Just let him fight Parker and Kabayel already. Usyk vs AJ 3 wouldn't play out all that differently no matter what the AJ fanboys say about him being "more confident". Usyk vs Fury 2 will just play out worse for Fury. Bring Opetaia up and let them fight. Belts don't matter when you're the king of boxing.

I've expressed my feelings on the possibility of it happening and now it's actually happened.

Just over five weeks ago, all the major belts in the heavyweight division were unified for the first time in 25 years.

In his two previous fights, Usyk had successfully defended his WBO, WBA and IBF belts against Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.

Usyk has been forced to vacate the IBF title so that ANTHONY JOSHUA AND DANIEL DUBOIS can fight for it.

    It beggars belief.

    It's ridiculous.

    It's insane.

I was under the impression that the IBF were going to enforce their mandatory immediately after Fury-Usyk 1 so regardless of anything that happened, the winner was always going to lose the IBF, and the Dubois-Hrgovic winner would get to fight for it?

Usyk filed some paperwork promising to fight the Dubois v Hrgovic winner after the Fury rematch and the IBF downgraded that fight to an interim title and let Usyk keep his belt.

I can see fury getting the hump about this. Pulling out of the fight saying he only wants to fight for all the titles, retiring….. then coming back and fighting the winner of aj vs ddd.

If this information is true, then it is absurd and foolish.
So if Usyk wins the rematch, he will fight the winner of AJ Vs. Dubois (or it doesn't matter with whom) TO BECOME THE UNDISPUTED CHAMPION!
It's a tragedy. This world makes less and less sense, and so does professional boxing.
