Duran didn’t really have one punch power like Tank does, unless we’re counting nailing Buchanan in the nuts.

Fair enough but I don`t think Tank could have floored Barkley.

I meant Duran proved his power at 60 not sure if Tank could do the same just by bulking up etc.

Single shot, I think Tank is probably a harder hitter than Duran although everyone that Tank has stopped Duran would also stop (but not with a single shot).

I also think Duran would've stopped Pit bull though and even with an uninjured hand Tank wasn't gonna stop him.

Duran really wasn’t knocking everyone out at 135 and 140. Some very average guys made it the distance.

Barrios would have a good chance of finishing 12.

Martin could do ten if De Jesus could do ten and win.

We would need to see more of Tank against top level opposition to really say for sure imo.

Barrios I actually think is a lot tougher than a lot of people realized, I can concede that you may be right.

But did you just compare Frank Martin to the 5th King?

First time in my life I’ve heard “5th King.” He’d be a footnote if he didn’t beat Duran. He’d also be fighting at 130 tops if he were around today.

A quick search on this site would show you that an enormous amount of people consider him the unofficial member of the Fab 4 (he missed Hagler mainly due to his loss to Hamsho (which setup the Hagler/Hamsho rematch). You can google this as well, he's always been mentioned with the other 4 kings. Fab 5 didn't just come outta nowhere.

    Also:
The youngest world champion in history (a record that will never be broken)

A 3 division champion when belts were far harder to grab

How would he be at 130 when he's pretty much a career JWW/WW?

    A footnote is bananas........

It was actually a typo. I meant to put De Jesus but was typing quickly at work.
