Him and Rico have to be someone's alternate accounts to exclusively talk about masturbating to chin pics.
NO - If you think he is then you think Vitali is too or Duran or anybody who could not find a way forward in a fight. Easy for arm chair fight fans to say.
Big Daniel has nothing between his ears, he doesn’t even know what quitting is. Because of his ******ed mind he’ll be a real threat to Joshua, he won’t feel any pressure it’s why felt no shame in quitting before.
Seeing as he decided against risking a potentially permanent injury against Joyce in order to fight another day, such as against Joshua for a belt/life changing money/possibly a shot a unification for even better money/ and likely 10+ years on his career ... I reckon he made the right move. The down side is he cops flack on the internet for it. So he would have being weighing things up against that in the moment, no doubt.
I think he kind of lost heart with the steady beating Usyk put on him and that compounded his exhaustion and that finished him. Versus Joyce? His face was broken. He knew it. Inoue, he's not. But a quitter? Like Cintron? Nah.
Think the demonstration against Hrgovic will give him confidence going ahead. Against Usyk he may not have seen a path to victory and felt a bit hopeless. Sticking it out, the tide can definitely turn in your favour sometimes.
Exactly. Against Usyk he knew he was outclassed and his only hope was to get away with a lowblow and hope the referee either turned a blind eye or genuinely misjudged it... But the referee was unusually good and caught him several times, he had his number. Dubois only ever had a punchers chance in that fight, but having the dirty route cockblocked and being increasingly dominated and racking up significant accumulation... It's easy to see how he'd feel he had no route to winning that fight - but was it possible to carry on and still have a punchers chance? Slim one, but probably. The Joyce one's been done to death - it would've been stupid to not retire with that kind of eye damage.
I'd have to agree that Joshua is a level above him,,,yet AJ was a level above Ruiz as well. If Dubois can keep his chin down and apply pressure like he did to Hrgovic he has a chance at an upset. Not a good one, but there's a chance and wouldn't that disrupt the division!
