Here you go again...advertising your boy, get off his BALLS(?). how much is he paying you? His fight is coming in and yet I see no post about him. Is that the best fighter you're talking about. Nobody seem to care except you. I PITY YOU, TRULY....:hat

Well . . . creating legacy means taking all the risks. These are the kind of fights which can create a legacy.

If Pac and his team can talk about legacy fighting a fighter 3 weight divisions above . . . why can't they take these fights involving fighters which belongs to Pac's own division now? Except of course Hatton who is at 140.

    :D

    Very True!!!

I'm a huge DLH fan... But any idiot can see Oscar is trying to pimp Manny out with that offer... However, with the fight now cancelled; and if it remains that way, maybe PacMan can clean out his new division and maybe even add a JWW/SLW title to that legacy... If Pacquiao were to win a title in 5 different weight classes, spanning across 8 different divisions, would that legacy be even greater tha PBF's??? Only time will tell... PacMan very well could climb that gauntlet mentioned a few posts ago, it's definitely possible at the very least...

JMM was comming without a belt as well as a loss from Chris john for the rematch, while Pacman is the P4P and a title holder for this supposed fight with DLH

What about the first attempt at the rematch were JMM still held the 2 belts and Pac had none:lol:

Pacquiao would be going into a supposed DLH fight with a consensus loss to JMM, and a poor PPV sale of his last fight with Diaz.

Bob Arum really did Pacquiao a disservice by making the David Diaz fight a PPV......
....certainly at the bargaining table, I'm certain that GBP threw the Pac-Diaz PPV numbers in their face, and claimed that Pac is'nt the sell that they'd like to think he is.......
The Pac-Diaz PPV numbers certainly dont help Pac at the bargaining table to ask for more than the 30% DLH is willing to give him.

Can I say something slightly off topic here?

Now that one of the forum's least popular Pacman fanatic, Pacdbest, is gonna be off limits here for a certain amount of time, I'm suggesting that maybe we should retire the words "*******s", "Pacsexuals" and other words similar to that.

I've recently been posting more often here in the general forum, because before, when some overzealous posters were active, I get tired of defending fellow Pacman fans, and Pacd's threads dont help. But now that he's out for a while, I feel I can freely discuss boxing here without all the name calling.

    Just a suggestion.

DLH outpriced himself against Pac :)

Somebody check on Pacdbest yet? Hope he's still breathing.

Lets get real here...Pac has the luxury of rejecting Hoya's offer. He won't be making 15 million in his next fight, but he'll be making about 4-5 in his next.

JMM, however, never had such a luxury. He took what? 20% against Pac? Quite frankly, that's all he deserved and he knew it. That's why he's chasing Pac halfway across the globe begging for a fight because (and here's a better use of the word CONSENSUS) Without Pac, we wouldnt be talking about JMM. I mean here's a guy who might make the HOF on career highlighted by a draw and razor thin SD loss to the same man all the while being dropped 4 times and crying like a sore loser about it. You cant say that with Pac relative to Hoya. We would still be talking about Pac regardless.

Pac/Hoya is nothing like the negotiations between Pac and JMM. That one was just a mere formality. It was almost akin to JMM kissing Pacs ass to fight him. Something he should actually thank Pac for, he did postpone his already planned fight with Diaz when he accomodated him. In simplest economic terms....Pac's relative worth in his proposed fight to Hoya is proportionally bigger than JMM's worth in his rematch with Pac.

Pac knows his value, and conversely so did JMM when he fought against Pac. Pac can afford to tell Hoya to kiss his ass. Now JMM? Well....he was chasing Pac all the way to the Pacific and now chasing him up the ligtweight division. You do the math.
