These 2 have renewed their little spats over messages shared by Froch yesterday.

Lot of back of forth between casuals on twitter but I think we all know who had the better resume, let's clear it up once and for all. Probably doesn't make much of a difference but for arguments sake let's pretend the day is September 22nd and AJ has just beat Dubois.

Froch: Lost to Ward and Kessler. Beat: Kessler, Groves x2, Bute, Abraham, Dirrell, Taylor, Pascal
Joshua: Lost to Ruiz and Usyk x2. Beat: Old man Klitschko, Parker, Povetkin, Ruiz, Pulev.

Based on their respective CV's Froch is clearly ahead IMO.

If AJ wins in September I'd say AJ.

    If he loses it's Froch

Wow, really? That surprises me. You think AJ beating Dubois in a few months is that missing marker in his career to leapfrog Froch?

It's close to begin with but Dubois is a good, prime scalp and tips the scales. He may be an email champion, but a champion nonetheless.
That would mean AJ has wins over 4 prime HW champs:
    Parker
    Charles Godwalker Martin
    Dubois
    Ruiz

In addition to stopping an ancient HW legend Wlad.

He also has a nice supporting cast in:
    Povetkin
    Pulev
    Takam
    Whyte

AJ's resume is hardly the stuff of legends, but it's pretty OK. One avenged loss and two from the best boxer of this generation.

Froch may be a mental case, but I rate him very highly. But I rate AJ highly as well.

So this is how overrated ajs mythical record has gotten ? Adding any names to fluff it up

    Replacement Takam ?
Martin ? Lol are you serious ? This is a joke
    40 year old Pulev cmon
    Green Whyte.
    Oh yeah Ruiz happened

Froch hands down. Only revisionists can say otherwise

Heavyweight division is a bit ****. Like after Usyk and Fury, AJs the only elite one left.

    Froch went through some animals.

    Old man povetkin.
Old man pulev. Joshua really fought a lot of old men.

I'm surprised that AJ has gotten any votes at all here tbh

I’m not a big AJ fan personally (Usyk all the way for me) but I do think he doesn’t really get enough credit for his resume and generally always fighting top 10 heavyweight contenders during his title run. When you look at Fury’s resume by comparison, Wallin is often included as one of the top 5 opponents that he’s defeated (usually around number 5). Yet, AJ doesn’t really get any credit for Wallin on his resume.

    Definitely Froch
Aj will have more longevity and title defences vs cans and old men, but Froch has a deeper and more impressive resume

Just to add, I think Froch is a narcissist and to blame for any feud. He is definitely jealous of Ajs success (financial and popularity) and holds some spite for Aj leaving mccracken

Definitely, I like Froch as a fighter but since his retirement he’s been very jealous of Calzaghe and constantly calling out Jake Paul and McGregor
