Who’s the best at neutralizing a opponent’s inside game?

James Toney, Floyd Mayweather, Hopkins, Calzaghe are a few that come to mind.

I want to say Holyfield, but on second thought I’m thinking he was more just great at fighting on the inside himself than neutralizing his opponents.

 

Foreman is the general when it comes to controlling the distance.

 

Kovalev was excellent at controlling range in his prime iirc

 

Andre Ward was great at it. I remember how often he would control one of his opponent's arms in in the clinch and would block the side of his head on the opposite side to defend against his opponent's hooks.
