    Fighters like Rodrigo are always a little frustrating to watch for me, he clearly has heavy hands and athleticism but lacks the ring iq and guidance to make the most of it.

    That seems to be the main issue of many of the upcoming filipino prospects and the reason most of them fail when they get to world level.

    Rodriguez has some sharp counters but when he is forced to initiate the exchanges he doesn't look impressive, someone with good footwork who just circles around him and doesn't allow him to get set will make him look basic.
