Lopez without power is just an average boxer. He doesn't have it at 140. His power has saved him in the past where he was out boxed. If he fights Cruz he is facing someone with granite chin with relentless pressure. I just have never seen Lopez where he out boxed anyone. His mo has always been I am going to blast you out. That is how I see it. Love to hear what others think!
Fascinating fight. Though his power hasn't carried up as well as he probably had hoped, Teo is still fast-twitchy with a relatively diverse offensive arsenal. He'll need to dig deep, however, to offset Cruz's single-minded search-and-destroy mentality. If he fights intelligently, an ability he's demonstrated when sufficiently challenged, Teo can outpoint Cruz.
I dont have a pick although slightly leaning Pitbull, but his offense arsenal is also very linear. Really entertaining fight
Great fight if this ends up becoming official. Teo looked unimpressive last fight but he seems to perform better when he fights higher opposition. Cruz's come forward style would give Teo more offensive opportunities to make this entertaining. If Cruz comes out with mean intent like he did against Rolly then Teo is in for a tough night.
I think Teo would have to throw about 900 punches just to keep Pitbull occupied and off him. After Saturday night though, we know that Teo had the ability to do that. I don't think Teo is the right style for Pitbull to look good against. Teo was a bit bothered by being crowded but ultimately he moved and threw which is what he had to do to counter someone coming in so strongly. He doesn't have to hurt Pitbull to win (doubt he'd be able to hurt him), just score. It wouldn't be a popular decision but I'd say Teo UD12 in a very competitive fight where he gets booed for winning
