1. The "real" champions thing is a see through device being used to overlook the solid opposition that Tank has beaten. No Jamie McDonnells. 2. Gamboa was the only shot guy he fought in a high profile fight. Thank the WBA for giving Gamboa a shot at the vacant belt. 3. Hector Garcia moved up to 135, but might be bigger than Tank anyway. That's about it. Tank dropped down to fight Santa Cruz at his weight. (Cuellar has zero infouence on Tank's placement.) 4. LSC, Pedraza, and Barrios were champions at the weight he fought them. Gamboa was for a vacant belt. 5. Better question: How many were prime and undefeated? I already claimed in the OP that Tank beat better opposition with side by side comparisons. No need to pick that internet weirdo's rant apart further.
Most of Tanks opponents were undefeated and Gervatai blessed them with their first Tko and Ko stoppagae loss.Inoue opps have lossed and have been stopped.Pit bull remarkable chin has no equal in the sport today.Tank also hasn’t had his orbital bone cracked or dropped ever.I think the resume are closer than people think.I give a slight edge to Tank simply because it’s just a stronger weight class presently and historically. Will always be the super star division.
Does RyGa have a win as good as Brandon Fig? B in Barrios stands for B-level. Lots of people were calling for Inoue - Nery. Nobody was calling for Tank - Martin. The rest...you might be right.
Nobody called for Inoue to fight Nery. No sane person, anyway. Ryan Garcia beat Haney's ass. It was better than Fulton failing to stick and move against Fig, NC or not.
Plenty did. Actually there were more people who thought Nery was going to win than people who wanted to see Wahid Frank. I don't count roid-fueled wins in any sport.
