I posted on the first day about the Arguello loss to peyor. Let me add Salvador Sanchez dying was a very sad day for me as well.
Saddest pat is nothing was done about it. The corruption is now rampant while the commissions look the other way & just count their $$$$$$$$$$
Well, in this case it was the Olympic committee that had to do something about it and i dont think they overrule anything in the Olympics, short of maybe someone who won a medal being found doping.
I'm going to say when a recent champion who took up boxing to better his daughters life was forced to reject a $100m+ contract by his handlers. It's pretty heart breaking when you think about it
I watched that one live and was so pissed I wanted to quit watching boxing altogether. Obviously didn't happen, we all love the sport but I'll be the millionth to say it's corrupt as hell.
A certain, Mr. Deontay Leshun Wilder Poor guy has taken some hellacious beatings "betting on himself"
Matthew Saad finally running out of comebacks against The Camden Buzzsaw. Holmes for even taking the Tyson fight as his best days were long gone. One word for that.. Greed! Arguello Hagler and Fraziers pre mature deaths still sadden me when I think about it. 3 of my very favorites. For the people that seem to harbor a grudge against Holmes over the Ali fight all I can say is your mad at the wrong guy. Dundee was the chief corner man and he let that beating happen because he was too caught up worrying about his own azz from the Muslims instead of protecting his fighter. That's the real culprit. His job was to PROTECT his fighter and he didn't. Holmes was only doing what he was supposed to do and IMO held back plenty.
