I only saw rounds 9 through 12 and I thought Foster controlled the ring, the distance between the two,
while the Brasilian threw wild punches that either rarely landed or had any effect on Foster. I know nothing about rounds 1-8.

Not at all. It was a close fight that could have gone either way. And while I had it a straight up draw, it was absolutely exhilarating to see those super-biased ESPN clowns take a loss. THEY are what was most objectionable about this fight, not the decision.

I don't always agree with Tim Bradley, but he remains one of my favorite commentators. At the beginning of the broadcast, he was lampooning Stevenson for being boring and again after the snoozefest that was perpetrated by Stevenson this time.

Foster won that fight the same way that Stevenson did. By landing 1 or 2 clean punches here and there and being hit cleanly fewer times. I find this style to be dishonest and sissified af, but "Money" made a pile of dough in this fashion. Notice that I imply the distinction between "Money" and "Pretty Boy". None of these boys trying to model themselves after "Money" have put in the work that gets them the respect that "Pretty Boy" did. They just wanna' skip to the gold plated toilets.

I was rooting for the Brazilian despite my default nationalism because I abhor the "Money" style. I think it's cancer to the sport and that the proof is self-evident.

The cure are such as Keyshawn Davis and Mason. Props to those fellas. I am in their camp.

There seems to be a lot of dislike towards the commentary team about the narrative of the fight.. and they were true for a lot of cases.
While I don’t think it was a masterclass from Foster but if I were a judge, majority of the rounds would have gone to Foster.. point being he landed more clean punches, more effective with his aggression (albeit a little lacking), was the ring general and show more defense.
I picked Foster in the league and lost points for that.. other than that I’m not too upset with the decision.. although it’s not how I scored it.

People really let their emotions dictate scoring. It's punches landed and how effective they are (like hurting and dropping an opponent) End of. Aggression should only be scored if the agressor is cleanly outworking the backpeddler. The wrong man won, despite how annoyingly biased the commentators were

Still waiting on the 7 rnds Foster won without a doubt.

Since I didn't watch it all. Seeing if it is worth my time to watch the rest of a boring fight.

No robbery, on principle alone, Oshackie should be deducted 10 points in every fight for having one of the dumbest names ever.

It's a boring fight. Foster was in control. He could have stepped on the gas and pieced up the other guy. But he doesn't want to get punched in the face. Like not ever. At least this time the robbery advances the sport.

    Round 12 - Foster 10-9

    115-113 Foster.

This was closer than I remember for sure. Its hard to say Foster was robbed, also he was being more negative than I remember so this may have been good for the sport. But the wrong man still won. Most of Conceicaos punches were blocked or rolled, especially when replay was utilized, that made it all the clearer. I also don't count arm punches unless the other opponent didnt land anything. He was essentially hiding behind the Philly shell the whole night. Conceicao was mainly hitting glove, arm, or air. He landed quite a few jabs to the body though. His activity made him look better than he actually did. Based on my score card a couple Conceicao rounds can still go to Foster i can't see the inverse, maybe 1. At best I see a draw

Ahhh... there's your problem right there! See... I was able to focus solely on one match and that match was ridiculously close.
