I certainly think that ESPN commentary is at a point where I can just no longer watch any fights from that broadcast without having to mute the entire fight if it means not having to listen to these guys. They no longer try and hide their bias and agendas, nor do they try and keep it fair or honest. They're all just cheerleaders for fighters that they root for. Even their post fight interviews are disgraceful, as shown with the aftermath of Shakur vs Artem.

    I agree 100%.

Saturday night's commentary from Kriegel and Bradley was possibly an all-time low for the sport.

I miss HBO boxing with Lampley, Merchant, Steward, and Lederman.

Yes absolutely. I said on another thread but next ESPN card in leu of a no commentary option I'm watching the Spanish language broadcast just to avoid that team.

The vast majority of commentators are annoying/very annoying and are just not very good at doing commentary or they're average at best, ESPN are unbearable to listen to

Yes it si. Tesitore is terrible (always has been). Kriegel is bad too. I like Bradley but with no Ward it isnt as good anymore. Also liked when they had Max Kellerman for the mid fight coverage.

I think we're forgetting how terrible Teddy Atlas always was with the bias and agenda. Any era without him can only be second worst. :sisi1

Not only is the commentary bad, the commentators have absolutely no insight into whats happening. Even the former fighters they get seem to have nothing to offer. This is not just an ESPN problem. DAZN is not much better.

They should just let Snoop Dogg do all the fight commentary. At least his comments are funny.

Absolutely awful - the worst bunch doing fights on regular basis. Not only are they not particularly knowledgeable, they are ALWAYS blatantly biased towards the House Fighters/A-sides, whatever you want to call them. Many modern commentary team feature at least hints of this, but these guys are regularly over-the-top in their shameless, and profoundly annoying, bias.

They just won't shut the **** up.

But idk, commentators have been bad for as long as I can remember, really. It's been ****, basically, since they stopped having one guy in the booth. One guy commentating is the right number. Then for a while there were two - colour only spoke up between rounds as interviewed by the anchor. Then it somehow became about "chemistry" between the 3-4 leads with no dead air. But I don't think this mob are particularly worse than some of what i've heard before, no.

My dream commentary team rn would be Mauro, Roy Jones and Teddy Atlas

George Foreman instead of Roy would work better for me.

Bradley is a very good pre fight and post fight commentator. But during fights he is too one sided.
    Kreigal is use8and totally unnecessary.

Gabe Rosado has impressed me lately.

If you say "woo" when somebody lands a big shot, you should be escorted out of the building and never see a microphone again.

Paulie, when not indulging in personal grievances, is a pretty astute observer.

His undying faith/belief in Stevenson, however, is a bit puzzling. The kid's talented, but his recent performances deserve a more pointed critique.
