Is there any heavyweight that Holmes couldn't beat once in a trilogy?

I was thinking that Holmes, H2H, is one of the best heavyweights ever. There are those I would favor over him, H2H, but I can't say that Holmes couldn't beat them once in a trilogy. For example, I'd favor Prime Mike Tyson and Prime Joe Louis to beat Prime Holmes. But in a trilogy, I don't even know that they could beat Holmes 3 times in a row. What say you?

The worst style match ups for Holmes IMO are Lewis, Ali, Liston, Frazier, Tyson, prime Norton.

In a realistic scenario i can't see Holmes not atleast winning 1 of out 3 in these fights he could learn from his losses and adjust accordingly.

Perhaps there's not a fighter in history whom Holmes couldn't beat at least once in three fights, but who knows, Moore lost to Charles all 3 times they fought and Moore is just about the greatest or second greatest LHW of all time.

My man Liston takes this. But due to the nature of boxing its pretty hard to say he wins 3/3.

I can't really see that happening, as good as Frazier was. He has to come forward and try to hook with his inferior hand past Larry's jab and all the way through his guard, which would be much harder considering that Holmes kept his right up and had really good guard manipulation, which Frazier would struggle with.
Frazier had more chances to beat on Ali because of that dropped right, whereas inferior fighters to Frazier had a better chance to land their right against Holmes because he kept his left down. It's the same reason that Norton didn't fare as well with Holmes as he did Ali, he couldn't jab with him, meaning that his pressure was almost always nullified.

I think that when we really get to the top echelon of fighters like this, almost everybody has a chance against everybody else, apart from certain bad stylistic matchups. I don't think anybody would beat Holmes every single time during the span of a trilogy. Ali, Lewis, Liston, or otherwise.

This is an interesting question, the only fighter that Holmes could never win against is Muhammad Ali, i m o. But then again even my number two heavyweight of all time, Joe Louis, would never be able to beat Ali either. Muhammad is the only fighter that I would ever say would beat every single man that ever stepped into the boxing ring. I don't think anyone stands a chance against him in his prime.

I’ll throw in the Ukrainian duo and their pet cat: Vitali, Wlad, and Oleksandr.

On his best night, he could feasibly beat anyone - that is, I wouldn’t rate him 0% chance against any one legend. However, there are three against whom I think his odds are low enough that he’d probably drop all three fights.

    Louis
    Ali
    Frazier

There has been no fighter where I wouldn't bet against it.
