Thanks for the video; I largely agree, I think Madrimov will be Crawford's toughest test to date. Maybe I am just too high on Madrimov but I don't agree it will be all plain sailing to a decision for Crawford. As you said Madrimov is probably the most powerful opponent Crawford has faced to date, and I believe he has the poise and speed to sporadically get through with some clean, hard shots; I am confident he will hurt, and maybe drop, Crawford at some point, but whether it will all be enough for Madrimov to get the nod I don't know.
All this talk about if he’s gonna get a fair decision what makes you think this is gonna go the distance the man is the underdog for a reason, Experience and momentum are on Buds side ,is there a chance for an upset yes but I don’t see it coming in this one. I’m taking Bud for the win as it has been stated many times Levels.
Am I missing something, or, are people arguing that a guy with only 11 professional fights is going to give Terence Crawford problems? How Madrimov earned a "title" shot, and, who he has beaten so far is a total farce. This is a joke.
Very good video Rummy! I especially agreed with the comment of how Madrimov is simply too basic to beat Bud as the highlights I thought demonstrated . A guy with 11 fights is going to school. In my opinion Madrimov has about 4 to 5 rounds to really damage Crawford before class begins. As for how I see it ending, as you say if age, strength and size aren't Bud's undoing a one sided decision is probably the way to bet but I have a nagging suspicion that the gulf in experience could result in a stoppage late.
Madrimov had roughly 300 fights in the amateurs and competed at the world level multiple times. He was moved fast, beat a number of fringe contenders at 154 to go up in the rankings then get a title shot against Kurbanov, who isn’t a bad fighter in his own right and was pretty universally included in top 10s at the time before Madrimov ran through him. Madrimov is a damn good fighter and imo the top dog at 154 right now. Plenty of fighters are given unwarranted title shots. It’s not exactly like Crawford beat a murderer’s row to get his shot against Burns. Who would you rather see Crawford fight that’s more qualified than Madrimov? Fundora coming off a win most believe should have been a NC? Ennis who has even less experience than Madrimov? Vergil Ortiz who has never actually weighed in at the 154 limit and whose health remains a big concern for whether he’ll actually be able to make it to the ring? Madrimov is the best opponent Crawford could find and, imo, the best opponent he has faced to date by a considerable amount.
As always, a quality video, Rummy. I have to admit that when I saw the length of the video I wondered how were going to tum a 30 second Crawford will win by comfortable decision or KO into an eight minute video. You did a good job of making it interesting and entertaining.
Crawford just too much experience, here. Maybe I am wrong but I see it as ruining a good, budding fighter.
Come on let’s get real kell Brook is the best opponent bud has faced, he wasn’t the best version of himself after the damaged eye socket and it wasn’t his hardest fight but he was his best opponent. This is a ko win for Crawford people will get hyped up for a couple of rounds while bud figures him out and then he will pick him apart
