Domínguez is put against the ropes, wilting from some right hooks on the body. Rocha is nailing him, then backing up cautiously, not wanting to get overly greedy and walk into something. Domínguez now puts Rocha on the ropes and scores a glancing uppercut. Another reversal, Rocha has him on the ropes, flurrying. Domínguez escapes behind a heavy straight right. Big clubbing rights on the neck by Domínguez. Rocha bucks into him with his lowered right shoulder and Ray Corona warns him for it. Rocha carrying his right hand low to invite the lead and then drawing it up to snap out the counter jab. Domínguez's left jabs are getting snuffed with Rocha's gloves pushing out into them as he turns his head just in case.

Domínguez is getting jabbed in the stomach coming forward, and then frozen in place as Rocha shoeshines into his arms. Rocha now doubling his jab and plugging a left in the midsection, and hooking the side of Domínguez, all while working his way in, aside, and back, serpentine. Domínguez is plodding in, blocking, and shoring up his energy to now and then let rip with haymakers. Rocha once again pivots off the ropes with a flashy counter combination.

Round 10

Domínguez is able to get in a couple of right hands. Rocha lands a low blow which Corona finally agrees with, offering Domínguez up to five minutes if he wants it and warning Rocha. Domínguez declines, time in. Big right hands being spammed by Domínguez, but Rocha is able to wriggle clear of the ropes and flash the right jab in Domínguez's face. Rocha changing direction every few steps, keeping Domínguez adjusting. Lunging right by Domínguez, falling several inches short. Rocha nearly gets himself caught on the ropes and dives in to hold. Wild winging left hook by Domínguez, ducked. A minute remaining. Rocha stepping in with the right up-jab off the hip now. Domínguez blinking as he takes it, but keeps marching forward throwing bombs wildly until the bell.
