If fighters dont like hearing their wins are over old fighters, maybe they should stop waiting til their signature opponents get older before they fight them, after years of the world clamoring for the fight.

    Actions have consequences.

If Loma wants to be seen as the best Lightweight he should be taking this fight.

Yes he's been ducked for 7 years, but he's still a world champion now and he's been called out.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

And well he should. That will be nourishment for the Lomachenko training camp. The fashionable thing to talk about is that Tank eventually KOs Lomachenko...that could totally happen and it would be Tanks greatest victory by far and I like Tank even if he's an ******* and so after that I would be rooting for him to put the beatdown on SS and Haney. But what if Loma makes Tank say "no mas"? That could happen too.

This is a legit PPV imo. If it happens this year.

I suspect Lomachenko is either a) strategically stepping aside to permit a Stevenson-Tank fight in the hopes of facilitating a shot at the winner for a winner-take-all belts grab or b) he's seriously contemplating retirement.

Yoooo this actually didn't cross my mind! Loma playin' 5d chess fr if this is the case and it would make sense becomin' more cautious in order to avoid seeing again judges on american soil robberin' him!

Yup. It's either that or he's probably done. He may think he can get the nod on the cards against one young American but certainly not two.

i dont blame him. 37 is too old for a guy thats naturally a super featherweight to go against an explosive counterpuncher/KO artist in his prime. Hopefully we can get tank vs shakur

    Thanks, homie.

Arum has indicated that Loma will fight in the first half of 2025.

He's hunting the winner of Davis-Stevenson.

Shakur still needs another 20 hopeless opponents before making it there.

Really hope Tank vs Lomachenko will happen. That will be an insane fight.

I think Loma should do a smash and grab job at 140 and become a 4 weight champion ... against someone like Paro for instance .. a winnable fight .. go out on a high.. istead of handing the torch to these LW Queens (barring Lopez) that acted like he didn't exist until he hit his mid 30s .. the systems already screwed him over why allow them to do it again.. Davis Would barely mention this guy's name for a decade .. how pathetic..

    Just saw this post, Kirk.
Tank needed an edge. He was mentored by Floyd, so he had tank wait til the odds turned more favorable. I don’t like it, but he’s made tank a lot of money, and made him a ppv attraction, running the Floyd playbook.
