After Margs was caught w wraps against Mosley - literally the next fight after Margs PEAK Cotto win - Margs was caught w plaster of paris in his wraps. Margs career went on for about 7-8 fights longer and he never had a stoppage again...despite scoring stoppages in something like 11 of previous 13 fights. Margs was just a lame cheat.

Brook beats Margs and potentially beats him even if he had wraps

He manages distance better?

Terence has never seen anybody elite like that.

A big call to say that he’d have won both fights.

A faded Pea almost beat a prime Oscar. And many people think that he did. And Oscar had a great jab.

Huge, huge call.

Especially as Terence has never been in that sort of company, or seen that style.

False narrative. He was actually better in the Crawford fight than in the Ugas fight. He made less technical mistakes.
Spence vs Crawford: “That wasn’t Spence” film study - YouTube

Really losing faith in peoples boxing knowledge. Anytime I see a thread regarding Bud Crawford, the entire argument jeers to this narrative that he "hasn't fought somebody" and not about what he can do inside the ring.
I mean really. Just pull up his fights, pull up Pernells fights, and compare the SKILLS and ABILITIES and not NAMES. Anybody who doesn't think they are comparable is being ridiculous.

He dealt with a prime Oscar’s jab. And when he was faded.

I cant find the YouTube short but they did a side by side comparison of.Spence jab against Mokey vs Crae6and you can see spence was clearly off balance and much slower against Crawford. Crawford has never looked that dominant against anyone.

A faded Pea shared the ring with a prime Oscar at WW.

I don’t think anyone is belittling Terence.

Terence is a great fighter.

Terence would have belonged in the ring with him.

However, we still have to apply context.

Terence has never fought any prime HOF/ATG fighters.

He was off balance because he always has been. You're also comparing a younger 2019 version of Errol to his older self. By that same token, I can show you Bud in 2019 vs Khan and you'd see he has also clearly slowed down since then. This is normal and usually comes with age.
Spence having a slightly slower jab does not mean he is a compromised fighter. Saying so undermines the significance of Errols wins before the bout with Bud.

I don't believe you can say that he has never looked that dominant against anyone. Moline Jr, Felix Diaz, Indongo, and Horn all got outclassed for rounds and then stopped. In fact I distinctly remember the HBO broadcast of Max Kellerman, Jim Lamply, and Roy Jones Jr mentioning how Bud toys with and humiliates his opponents while also mentioning that the quality of the fighters being very good.

spence has an amir khan chin and drops his hands when he throws bad body punches, do not pretend this tomato can could do anything. he would get seizure koed by avanesyan and need oxygen to live

I think Bud wouldve competed w Fab 4. I think that highly. Ive already said Bud beats Floyd head to head and beats prime DLH. Both Floyd and DLH had better careers but Bud has all the tools and genuinely has a savage streak...he tries to hurt his opponents (not just win boxing matches) like the greats from the 80s. And I simply believe he would succeed as he always has

I'm sorry, but Crawford had not fought anyone to say he would beat the fab 4. He'll, Wilfred and Pryon would be favored over him.p4p
