Only correct answer. Holmes and Lewis are interchangeable, I could see Lewis edging out Holmes. Ultimately, Ali, Holmes and Lewis are comfortably the 3 legitimately best boxers of all time in terms of just pure H2H

And if we are being completely honest with ourselves, there is no way Rocky Marciano would stand a chance against any of the Klitschko brothers.

anyone of them 3 could beat any HW in History on their best nights.

S-HWs need not apply, the Land of the Giants is/are a completely different division.

I'm a big fan of Norton however the fact is Frazier ruled the division for years as the number 1, Norton didn't regardless of the reasons that's a fact

Also to say Holmes had an easy fight against Norton is again stupid it was a split decision and very competitive at most Larry won by 2-3 rounds and even the rounds he controlled he was getting tagged clean

I really don't see your argument either Holmes struggled with a past his prime Norton or Norton was prime and guess what Holmes still struggled to beat him whereas Foreman blasted him out in 2 as well as two big wins over Frazier, give me three wins of Holmes that are just as impressive and this is before you factor in Foreman's KO of Moorer when he was as ancient as Luis Ortiz

Foreman had way too many filler fights and weak opposition to have a superior resume than Holmes

While I don't think Usyk would have beat everyone I think he has the skillset and drive to give any heavyweight in history a tough fight as well as proven record of beating bigger skilled men, and I wouldn't count him out against anyone.

    Foreman’s three best wins:
    Frazier
    Norton
    Lyle?

    Holmes’ three best wins:
    Norton
    Mercer
    Cooney

Apart from Frazier, there is not really that much difference in skill. If we start looking at their victories outside of these top 3, it’s pretty clear that Holmes has a better resume. By the way, I do think Foreman would win a H2H match against Holmes let me make that clear

The fight WAS easy, I explained this already. Go back and watch the fight and you'll see Holmes hitting Norton at will over and over with both his left and his right, and the only reason that Norton got such a close score was because of overall useless aggression. If you want to call it competitive, be my guest- But do not use those god awful judge scorecards to do so.

Norton had a bad stylistic matchup for Holmes, whereas Foreman had one in his favor- Winning a title match by knockout is not as impressive as winning a dominant decision. The second Frazier match should not be thought of as "impressive", either. I'll give you Witherspoon, Weaver, and Williams.
I also don't believe that Foreman's win over Moorer is any more impressive than the performances that Holmes put on in the 90s- I don't value chin checks over competitive matches. Just compare how each of em performed against Holyfield if you want evidence for who is better all round.

But you can't say well let's take out the best win from the resume and then it's pretty even also fighters are really judged on their signature wins not if they fought more B class fighters

Don't forget the win over Moorer and even Briggs Foreman was robbed in that fight

    These are facts

Foreman had better signature win's than Holmes
    Was involved in bigger fights
Had a better career overall than Holmes (ok this one isn't a fact but most would agree)
    Created a much better grill

    Foreman has:
    Frazier
    Norton
    Moorer

    And Holmes has:
    Witherspoon
    Williams
    Mercer

Holmes fought much more dangerous men to him than Foreman ever did over much longer spans of time. Decisions will always be valued over knockouts unless the man had a chin made of steel.

You think a tough decision win over an older Norton is more impressive than Foreman blasting him out in 2

Both fought well against Holyfield so I don't see your point and I do think both Holmes and Foreman beat Holy in their primes

Foreman got wins off of chin checking guys whereas Holmes had to fight strategic matches against real hard competition. The only win I'd give Foreman that is close to what Holmes would do in fights is the Moorer match, where he had to be smart about throwing his right.

I said what I said. Decision wins mean more than knockouts, sheer skill is more impressive than sheer power.
