Shocked that the greedy multi-millionaires either paid him peanuts or nothing at all for sparring.

    Scandalous.

Invaluable experience, some would pay for that opportunity.

His YouTube channel is quite good. Crazy only getting 20 quid a round against Enzo or nothing at all from AJ.

Sounds to me like Dave Allen wasn’t smart enough to ask to be paid in the AJ case and some others, or didn’t have anyone looking out for him.

Some guys make a career out of sparring, and get paid every time.

Agree but these grubs are multi-millionaires and should be paying more than peanuts.

To be fair, the fighter themselves rarely know what the sparring partners are being paid. This would all be arranged and negotiated between managers, assistants and entourage lackeys.

Another clanger, you are on fire today son. Paying to get punched up by heavyweight huge punchers. Cracking business plan you have there.

Remember Johnny Fisher saying he wasn’t taking money off Tyson Fury in one camp, but was made to take some anyway… from memory it was 80 quid but I could be misremembering

The bonus of paying is your guaranteeing the right sparring for the duration of the camp, but as pointed out the negotiations tend not to involve the boxers themselves. From my experience sparring outside of very elite is you scratch my back I'll scratch yours

Allen also got sent home by Klitschko when he turned up in awful condition. Maybe he’d have been paid more if he was more disciplined.

His YouTube channel is really good and he's a naturally good story teller. As for Joshua and Mcracken, using facilities meant for Olympians and then not paying sparring partners isn't a very good look when you're one of the highest paid sportsmen in British history. In fact it looks obsessively tight fisted.
