He didn’t show superior physicality but he did show that he was a very awkward fighter for Crawford to deal with. If he didn’t waste so much energy on unnecessary movement and focused more on throwing more combinations he could have had a better chance.
It's only grown that much stronger. The Man Who Was Robbed of a Career Defining Victory in America and exposed Crawford will get a lot of mileage.
Aside from the countless ''Easy work for Bud'' ''Bud via KO 4-8'' ''Bud is going to light up this fool''' Type comments on the pre-fight videos on YT where ever so predictably the foreigner gets terribly underrated by thousands of these DKSAB clowns Regardless of how you scored it, does anyone actually believe that had Madrimov just had a little more pro experience, a few more fights and had actually fought some prime world class opponents instead of a couple of fringe level guys that he wouldn't of clearly beat Crawford? I said it was a huge ask for him to beat a P4P top 3 opponent and make such a huge leap up in class with only 11 pro bouts experience under his hat but I also said I believed he did possess the talent to beat Crawford just not the experience yet and that has obviously been proven now
Actually, about half the RBR disagrees with the official decision, but the mere fact that 2 of the ridiculously biased judges only saw fit to score it 115-113 in Bud's favor, proves you were absolutely 100% ****ing wrong in your assessment of Madrimov. A hypejob doesn't win 5 rounds off of a P4P fighter.
@CST80 Although you're upset with the decision in the main event, overall you had a very good night. You pretty much predicted the upset win by Valenzuela over Pitbull which was a masterful performance and you made it clear that you rated Madrimov and thought he would give Bud a tough fight. So although the decision didn't go your way in the Main Event, we all agree it was close and I would say, though I was fine with Bud winning, there's certainly a path I think you can find to score the fight for Madrimov. But I think you would agree that it was a great performance by Bud as well. They both fought really well and I just think we should give credit to both of them for showing how good they are. This result is only going to help Madrimov, he's now a proven commodity and it's clear that he's a problem for anyone at 154. And he has room to grow, he's only going to get better.
