A mate of mine reckons Joshua would have had a panic attack against Tua and got stopped, What do you think?

AJ has strong fights behind him (he has experience): Wlad, White, Parker, Ruiz x2, Usyk x2...
I see this fight as a win for AJ on points and the fight would look like a middle ground between Lewis Vs. Tua and AJ Vs. Ruiz 2.
P.S. I have no need to comment on Tua's footwork

I've got Joshua in this one. He has all of the tools to keep Tua outside. Of course Tua is dangerous but I would put my money on the physical advantages that Joshua has.

The Man got walked down by a morbid obese Burrito who is a average Puncher at best.whose best fight to date was loosing a decision to Paint Dry Parker................as a matter of fact AJ spit his mouth piece out and quit, fact.

It depends which Tua shows up, the fat Tua from Lewis or the confused "change my style" Ten Goose trained Tua from Byrd............those versions AJ will run his track meet to decsion him

By ANY metric Tua was a superior fighter to fat Andy, resume or ko'ing future/past World Champs.

Ike version or a couple of fights before will sleep the Bodybuilder.

The smart money would definitely be on Joshua.

the final scorecard for this would probably be Joshua/118- Tua/110.

This wouldn't even be close. Joshua is versatile enough to avoid the big shot from Tua

I’d bet on AJ to win. But if the AJ that lost to Ruiz shows up he’s getting beat. That one walked down anyone w no fear. Needs to do what he did to Ruiz and just dance around him in the outside. Tua didn’t have fast enough feet to keep up w the movers like Frazier or Marciano were able to

I'm not sure Whyte had Joshua on rubber legs after a left hook, and Ruiz basically turned the fight on it's head when he caught Joshua with a left hook. And as we all know the left hook is Tua's bread and butter punch.

12 rounds is a long time to not get hit by a prime Tua who has KO power at any point in the fight.

People are bringing Ruiz vs Joshua 2 but Ruiz came in even heavier and was even more grossly out of shape. I don't think that fight has much barring on what a prime Tua would bring the table.

I could see Joshua piling up a early points lead and then getting clocked with a left hook and not recovering.

I think Joshua has been getting a tad overrated recently he hasn't beaten any real notable names for years Wallin is an ok name nothing more nothing less and Ngannou is an MMA fighter. Prior to that Joshua's only other notable win in like 5 years is vs an old Pulev which says it all really.

If Joshua fought how he fought against Ruiz in the 2nd fight, he could gain Tua’s respect early on, outjab him and use his footwork to keep Tua off balance and win a convincing decision.

As long as Joshua doesn’t get caught being over aggressive like he did in first Ruiz fight he takes this on points pretty wide. Joshua is pretty technically sound. He’d guard against the hook and his footwork is better.

I agree that a cautious, disciplined AJ should be favoured.

The Ruiz from the AJ rematch was in awful shape and Tua of course hit far harder, but Tua's feet were every bit as slow as that version of Ruiz.

Of course Tua would have a punchers chance, but so long as AJ didn't get brave and stuck exclusively to a game plan of non-engagement, keeping mobile outside of Tua's punching range at all times, he should win a wide decision in a boring fight.
