Berlanga is easier to hit than Bud.

You'd be praising His Excellency and Prince Muhammad bin Salman if you were getting 10s of millions when the actual market in the west is super dry.

They actually brought boxing back to life in the last couple of years. Have to put some respect on their name.

Canelo just wants to be an A side cherry picker at this stage of his career, like Mayweather was at the end of his. When Turki and the Saudi mob run an event you have 0 power.

That's actually very strange. Canelo would be the favorite its weird he didn't take it for that much money !! Even if people refuse to give him credit he's still beating a top pfp fighter + that should be an easy 150 million dollars KOing a welterweight. How much is he getting paid for Berlanga in comparison ? Canelo really is risk adverse it's pathetic

First off, he didn't "vacate", he was stripped!

Secondly, are you whining because Canelo is fighting Berlanga instead of William Scull?

Thirdly, since Benavidez gave up his mandatory status and moved up, who in your opinion, are/were better options for Canelo than Berlanga, Ryder and Munguia?

Yeah and the vast majority of ‘em were on the wrong side of 30. Is anything Turki said wrong here? Most of this forum has said the same thing for years.

    First off, who cares

Second off, no I didn't say that

Third off, the best fighters at SMW apart from Canelo have been Benavidez, Morrell, Mbilli and he's fought none of them.

Before Bivol he used to fight the best. Since Bivol he doesn't fight the best.

    It's irrefutable.

But it's fine, boxing moves on without him.

Canelo had a choice to fight Scull. He went the berlanga/eubank route. It was pretty dumb because Canelo was looking for an opponent at the time and would've kept undisputed status by just beating his mandatory

    That's not square one.

Square one is the reality that since losing to Bivol he's faces to fight the best.

    That's our square 1.

It doesn't matter as much no anyway, with the Saudis we regular see enough big fights on a consistent basis. Canelo is becoming less relevant.

I don’t usually side with Canelo cause I don’t like or dislike the man.
But I’m with Canelo in this one and applaud him for not kowtowing for the Arab nerd. if Canelo doesn’t want to fight Crawford, so be it. It’s the fight NOBODY wants except for Crawford and Turki. Turki is essentially a Crawford promoter at this stage.
Now instead of butthurt, Turki should try to throw money at Canelo to make the Benavidez fight.. make the offer public and if it’s big money and Canelo decline then he can say whatever he wants.
