I guess it would depend on if Usyk really does go back down to cruiser after the second Fury fight.

If Usyk lost to Fury he'd activate the rematch clause and we'd see a trilogy.

No, sadly. If Fury wins he will retire and hold that over AJ's head for the rest of his days.

AJ had a very good chance to fight for all of Fury's belts. He had a couple of months notice, which was a lot more than Ruiz Jr had.
Problem was he wanted to control the whole thing and all the media, despite having no titles.

And he was also rebuilding his brand and fragile confidence with easy tune-up fights.
He and Hearn therefore dodged the fight with stalling tactics then ran their usual PR spin on it. 'Diddun do nuffin.'

People now pretend Fury made this fight impossible to make. Fury had every reason to fight AJ then since it was the biggest money fight for him and we know he loves money so he can give it all away to charity. On top of that, AJ actually would have had lower confidence after being easily beaten by Usyk twice. Fury was the favourite to win that fight at the time. And that's the clue he wasn't the one ducking.

Fury ducked everyone capable of giving him a tough match, he only wants easy touches like Ngannou, Whyte, chisora or anyone who is not 100% mentally.

We all know it took him $250m to get in the ring with usyk. He got whooped like we all said here. Fury is good as a fighter but he sucks as a champion

    1) Fury won't beat Usyk.

    2) Even if he fluked a win, he'd still duck Joshua - he's never wanted that fight.

No. For one, he's going to duck the rematch with Usyk. Two, he's shot to the point that several fighters, Joshua included, can beat him. His ego won't allow him to lose to the UK's other top fighter. And he knows his fanboys will cover for him and allow him to duck.

I don't see AJ or Fury winning their next fights.

This is going to be another fight that we as fans miss out on

Out of the top 5 of the post Klitschko era

Usyk - fought AJ and Fury
Fury - fought Usyk and Wilder
AJ - fought Usyk and Parker
Parker - fought AJ and Wilder
Wilder - fought Fury and Parker

We're highly unlikely to ever see

Usyk v Parker, Usyk v Wilder
Fury v AJ, Fury v Parker
    AJ v Wilder

5 big fights that we're missing out on.

If Saudis got involved earlier they would have all happened

I think the opposite would be true. If Fury beat Usyk and then didn't fight AJ the entire boxing world would hold it over Furys head for the rest of his days, he'd end up never taking another interview again because he knows he ducked AJ.
However if he did take the AJ fight he gets knocked out, I'd wager a pound to a penny AJ hits much harder than Usyk and Fury isn't hard to hit and Fury definately doesn't survive another round 9 like the one against Usyk.
My prediction, Usyk beats Fury comfortably in the rematch and Fury retires. AJ wins the IBF against Dubois and we may get an AJ Usyk trilogy. I'm not sure Usyk will go after the cruiserweight belts again I think he would rather be the man that was cruiserweight undisputed in a very good cruiserweight era and then stepped up to be the best heavyweight in a generation and leave it there.

I'd argue that's not really the top 5 post Klitschko.

Usyk, Joshua, Fury and Parker yes... But both Povetkin and Whyte have better claims than the overhyped fraudulent "champion" that ducked them both.

Agreed - not that the Wilder fights here are anything to mourn not having seen at this point (or ever, besides to burst the hype narrative).

Joshua should beat Dubois, I'll be surprised if he doesn't...
Agreed Fury isn't likely to beat Usyk, though.

The problem with that argument is until Wilder lost to Parker he wasnt once ranked outside the top 5 in the post Klitschko era.

And yes the Wilder fights are something to bemoan because they would have been big fights with tension due to the one punch power.
