Both fights delivered the goods.

 

I would say that Usyk vs Fury is still the best fight so far. High level with multiple adjustments by both fighters. The drama of the knockdown/near knockout and the underdog victory was what made the fight so memorable.

 

Ray Ford vs Nick Ball

 

I have a slight bias towards HW boxing. There is just something about that category that exceeds all other sports. Top level HW boxing for me is my favourite sport.

Usyk V Fury was one for the history books, especially considering it was the first undisputed HW bout in 25 years.

 

We had 3 great fights in a span of 3 days.

Beterbiev vs Bivol didn't do much for me honestly it was an ok fight but I've seen alot better in regards to technical fights with good action.

 

I gave the fight a rewatch yesterday and it still holds up well in terms of rewatch value. Very technical with little clinches involved with some good exchanges here and there. But I can see why some people find the fight underwhelming. It wasn't the all out war that people wanted but there was still a lot of high level boxing that was on display from both fighters. Beterbiev wasn't there to just mindlessly swing punches and he took his time to get things going. Bivol had a gameplan that worked well for him to not get thrown off.

Usyk vs Fury was definitely the better fight. Maybe we'll see more action in the rematch.

 

Haney vs Unhinged PED King Garcia was just a bizarre circus, I don't think he needed to be on anything considering the stupidity of Devin's approach during the fight. He loses credibility for coming in overweight and probably juiced but somehow he came out with much more than the dream whose career has currently transformed into a nightmare and is a laughing stock for the smack talk prior and how he handled the *** whooping after (dude showed a lot of guts which is overlooked). Boxing at its worst and best lol.

 

Yeah dis is a must-watch lmao

 

The build-up for Usyk-Fury was amazing and the anticipation when they got in the ring and the bell went was something else. Fortunately, as it played out, it lived up to the hype too.

 

It was definitely a good fight, worth the wait.
