Many people talk about Benavidez being ducked by Canelo, but what if Benavidez fights a guy more his size Beterbiev? What happens?

Need to see how Artur moves now following the knee surgery. At his age, he may never move the same way again.

Still give the edge to Artur against Benvidez though, even if he may lose now to Bivol

After watching Benavidez look very mortal while defeating Oleksandr Gvozdyk it's hard to imagine him beating Beterbiev. There is the post-surgery concern for the Russian but assuming he is close to the Artur we all know I have to think he stops Benavidez mid-fight.

Much of this is older footage but Beterbiev has been working with the same people in the Russian camp and doing footwork drills and combinations

He will be a monster again on October 12th

    Benavidez gets crushed by him

Benavidez gets crumpled. You can't be getting dropped by Ronald Gavril and lit up by Andrade and not expect to get KTFO by Beterbiev. His defence is too leaky and he doesn't have enough power at 175 to keep Artur off him.

    I dont know...

Beterbviev will be 40 in 5 months and he just had knee surgery, at that age even if you're still performing amazingly, a knee surgery could be what accelerates your decline.

Beterbiev has only fought 3 times in the last 3 years, with few rounds. At this stage there's no way to know what's in the tank until it starts being used. I'd still favor Artur but my confidence level is a shaky .

Beterbiev crushes Benavidez unless he's shot which, at 39 years of age coming off surgery and long layoffs, is very possible.

Benavidez is a smoke and mirrors kind of fighter. He looks very strong when his best asset is his ability to cut weight. Take that away and he's above average.

Beterbiev gives him a beating and knocks him out brutally unless age and the injuries finally catch up to him.

Father time is undefeated, however Beterbiev would fold Benavidez in half.

    Bivol on the other hand...

As others have previously noted, much would depend on what Beterbiev has left.

Assuming he's the same ox-strong, power punching, agent of controlled destruction we've come to expect, Beterbiev batters and stops a brave but outgunned Benavidez.

I suspect Beterbiev at even 80% has enough left to top Benavidez in what would undoubtedly be a "die where you stand" firefight.

ROFLMAO !! That's what Canelo thought about Dmitry Bivol. Bivol Beat the bejabbers out of Canelo, So much so he barely won a minute let alone a round. He gave Ginger the whipping he'd deserved all along. He wanted to make a statement, to the self proclaimed King of Boxing, who was the better boxer & man he did just that.. Canelo is done.Bivol took his soul

Are you okay? Why are you messaging me a Canelo hate piece when I didn't mention Canelo at all and this thread has nothing to do with him? I think you're a bit obsessed with your buddy Saul.
