Beterbiev went life and death with anthony yarde. he has no defense. Benavidez batters and stops him. He would not stand and trade with Beterbiev either, he fights much smarter than that. He would counter punch beterbiev then do his thing.

AB will be old and compromised when they fight. Ill be the minority that thinks DB wins if/when that fight ever occurs.

There was no hate whatsoever Im fine . Your description of how you feel about Benavidez matches what Canelo thought about Bivol. He was VERY WRONG wasn't he ???lol. So could you be wrong feeling Benavidez has no chance against Ginger. Dmitry took Canelo's soul he's finished which explains the ducking & cowardice he's showing don't you think??
Oh & please don't call that Ginger headed cheater my buddy, my buddies are Fighters not Divas like ginger

This thread is about Benavidez vs Beterbiev, not Canelo. I think Beterbiev crumples everybody at the weight, and I think that regardless of whether I like a fighter or not (for reference I don't like Benavidez, I just can't stand his style). And Benavidez and Bivol are diametrically opposed stylistically. Benavidez is a flat footed combination puncher (a style Canelo does very well against) while Bivol is a fleet-footed technician. Drawing conclusions on how Canelo vs Benavidez would go based on Canelo vs Bivol is folly.

The only thing thats stopping it happening Kirk is Canelo's refusal to fight him isn't it. David wants it, the real fans want it, EVERYONE BUT Canelo's camp want it !!!!! I think if we are honest we all know why Canelo doesn't want the Benavidez fight is because he is terrified he just might LOSE AGAIN!!! after the way Dmitry Bivol took him to school. Made his prancing around with a crown on his head yelling "Im the King of Boxing I cannot ever be beat" look idiotic doesn't it lol

He's been a prize fighter since the age of 15 and has fought a host of dangerous and capable fighters his whole career. I don't believe Canelo is scared of Benavidez, I don't think most boxers and high-level athletes allow themselves to get into a fearful mentality. I think the money just isn't there for that fight yet for it to be worth Canelo's consideration.

Now C'mon Dorrian Turki was chomping at the bit to fund this fight NEXT!!! He can fund it easily. Only one person who doesn't want to see Benavidez-Canelo & that is Donald Duck Canelo. I want to see Beterbiev-Bivol too !! I would even watch any one of the 3 fighting Champions fight Canelo but Donald aint never going to be man enough to take either one on. Yet you idolize the Quacking Duck

If Beterbiev is still the same fighter, I think he stops Benevidez late. Thats just how he operates. That being said, i think benevidez holds his own quite well at 175lbs.

Beterbiev is a fleet footed technician? What? He is a brawler with awful defense. Went life and death with Anthony Yarde. David has much better feet and defense than Beterbiev who will be target practice for him.

He was offered his highest career pay day for the fight, the money is not the issue and has never been an issue ever in his entire career yet it suddenly an issue with Benavidez?. Canelo has yet to propose a reasonable number other than 200m. He does not want the fight.

Beterviev KO 5 Benavidez. Even now. Saul wouldn't last as long, however.

Unless Beterbiev is seriously damaged goods from the knee injury and age, he knocks Benavidez out within 5 or 6 rounds imo.

Just imagine what Beterbiev would do to Plant, Boo Boo, Lemieux, Dirrell, Gavril, and a well past prime Gvozdyk who only turned up for the payday?

Sure, Beterbiev will be at least 40 by the time if and when they fight and he still has to get through Bivol first and possibly twice.

We also don't know how much the knee injury and surgery will have taken out of him

On paper Benavidez with his talent and youth should be in the right place at the right time given Betervbiev's age and all the aforementioned. However, if Beterbiev is still close to being the same as he was in his last fight, even at 39 y/o, he would punch Benavidez in half.
