Spinks decision, but could stop him if he forced the action, he has more to his game, Tarver is more basic, Spinks had better footworks, could throw lead rights, had more ways to set up punches and had more to his defence as well.
A very good LHW against a guy on the short list for the best ever LHW. Spinks should win handily. I think Tarver would go into a defensive shell and drop a clear UD
I figured Spinks by decision was the most likely scenario. He was a much better fighter but Tarver’s durability was beyond proven
Probably a cagey chess match like the Eddie Mustafa Muhammad fight. Spinks by decision in a surprisingly uneventful fight.
Spinks does everything better than Tarver. Tarver stands no chance whatsoever. Probably lasts distance though as he could take a shot.
