What was your toughest fight to score?

When it’s that close it’s never a robbery. I remember people complaining about Canelo v GGG 1 and I had Canelo by a round but fully admitted I could have easily went the other way on three of those rounds

 

That mirror description made me laugh.

 

A lot of Canelo fights are tricky to score because he has low output and cement feet but always throws the more eye catching punches.

I've noticed that with Bernard Hopkins as well, his 2 fights with Taylor and his bout with Calzaghe are some of the harder fights to score with opinions going either way.

Funny, I've always thought Johnson won that fight clearly.

I agree, I never thought Toney-Tiberi was a "robbery."

Time to correct that - it's an ATG chess match between 2 of the best ever @their weight. Gavilan was just beginning to slow down by this time, while Basilio was only just beginning to realize his potential.

I remember De La Hoya-Whitaker being difficult to score because neither guy was landing much at all.

Taylor-Hopkins 2 was hard to score, and also hard to watch.

 

Yeah, I remember having both BJS and Plant up on my scorecard at the time of the stoppage.

 

Pacquiao vs Bradley fights even if people don´t see it the same way as me.
Canelo vs Golovkin 1 is not easy too... it is not.

Freitas vs Casamayor, Mayweather vs Maidana 1, Jofre vs Legra, Chavez vs Whitaker are all tough because it depends of how your eye was trained to see..... for example, Maidana landed many body shots that should count as much if not more than Floyd´s punches....

 

De La Hoya - Trinidad? I don’t know how any realistic scorecard could give Trinidad more than 2 of the first 9 rounds. Round 4 was the only clear Trinidad round. Even giving Trinidad rounds 10-12, The closest final scorecard should be 115-113 de la Hoya.

Jerry Roth’s 3 of the first 4 rounds to Trinidad is so abhorrent that it is incredulous to think about

 

I thought the Pedroza vs Lockridge fights were very close fights and hard to score.

For reference I had the 1st fight a 1 point fight for Pedroza and the 2nd fight a draw.

 

I think Trinidad winning 3 out of the first 9 rounds is fine but that's the max you could give him.

I don't see any real argument though for Trinidad in regards to a victory. The best Trinidad could've done is earn a draw or lose 7-5.
