I think prime Beterbiev is a hard matchup for anyone, based on his showing against Gvozdyk.

That said, his resume is spartan and aside from Gvozdyk he hasn't really got any elite scalps on his resume.

Here's a list of LHW i would either favour against Artur or would at least be on the fence

    Bob Foster
    Ezzard Charles
    Archie Moore
    Sam Langford
    Michael Spinks
    Sergey Kovalev
    Roy Jones Jr

For Beterbiev to even be considered as competetive against those names is an incredible achievement, especially for his small number of pro fights.

Michael Spinks would KO him out Beterbiev was on bambi legs against Callum Johnson. Beterbiev walks into the "Spinx Jinx" and ends up looking up at the lights.

Even a tough nut like Dwight Muhammad Qawi who is one of the best pressure fighters of all time at Light Heavyweight. Felt Spinks's power in the 1st round and was very cagey from that point on realizing he would be KO'ed if he tried to engage Spinks aggressively.

Yeah, Charles was a tough guy. Can't argue if people say he's #1 at lhw. Consider this. Moore was 39 when he became champ and held on to the belt for almost 10 years. Both guys are higher on the list than Beterbiev.

We need a 4th option, because no I don't think h2h he's the ATG at LHW, and no I don't think he beats most of the ATG's at LHW.

He's definitely a great for this era.................."this era"

Langford lmao. Have you watched tape of Langford? He's a 5'6 gremlin who's best skill was Greco-Roman wrestling. Great fighter, don't get me wrong, but anybody in the top 10 at 175 would beat him.

Definitely great for this era, no doubt about it. Now if only this era contained great light heavyweights, perhaps he would have a chance to prove he belongs amongst the best.

And as far as the choices in the op, lolololol
