Because his punch resistance was nonexistent in his last ring outing, eye surgeries, years of yo-yo dieting and drinking taking on toll on his body, and the 3 car crashes he went through (4 if we include his last fight).

Fundora will retire Spence and I hope Barrios will do that to Pac too

Spence probably has enough left in the tank to be competitive even against Fundora. Pac needs to just call it quits, win or lose.

I’ll tune in for this card though. Spence vs Fundora might end up being fun. Pac vs Barrios could be competitive, although I’ll be rooting for Pac to win, retire on a high note. and ride off in the sunset.

Yeah but Spence looked like **** from the opening bell, was punch drunk the first time he got grazed with a jab, and took a protracted beating.

I actually disagree. Fundora does NOT have a good job and does NOT fight well from a distance. Spence is going to high guard on the inside and BANG that body. I like Spence by clear decision or late stoppage

This is an exaggeration but Spence did look different. He cut weight one too many times. I dont think it has anything AT ALL to do with brain injury or car accidents...as they played ZERO role in Garcia and Ugas wins. But Spences punch resistance was completely shot and improperly cutting weight and/or simply being unable to was the culprit.

Yall will see if he fights again.

Ditto. Am confused how we're only ones who saw Tszyu blasting Fundora for 3-4 rounds before the lucky cut...

Tsyzu and Spence fight nothing alike and Fundora will have a LOT of trouble keeping Spence off him

Manny Pacquiao found himself unexpectedly challenged by Japanese kickboxer Rukiya Anpo in a thrilling exhibition match.

The 45-year-old boxing icon failed to put away Japanese kickboxer Rukiya Anpo in their three-round exhibition match that went the distance, Manny is finished.

Spence did look shot against Crawford but perhaps the key words in that statement are "against Crawford". We need to see him against someone else. Beanstalk is a tough night out for anyone so this fight will tell us whether Errol becomes a player at 154 & can resume posting those shark emojis. They're just tadpoles otherwise. Let's hope the judges score it straight up. Seeing judges score fights in this division to who they want to win rather than to who actually does demeans the sport. If Beanstalk beats him, just score it that way.

Yea, he looked really bad in the opening round and not that much better in the second. But he found his groove in the 3rd and it was a fair bit of fun. I wish it had been a longer fight.
However, it was clear that Pac is completely done. With a good camp he might be a bit better, but he is no longer capable of operating at a world level. Too long of a career, too long of a layoff.

Mercifully I don't think we will see Manny in the ring again; he has hinted at coming back before, and ultimately nothing has materialised; hopefully Jinkee is talking some sense into him.

As for Spence, I think he is at the point where he should take an easier fight in order to bow out on a high. One thing is for sure, win or lose (and I think he will lose), against Fundora he will ship a lot of punishment. Even at his peak I think 154 would have been a difficult ask for him; as of now, after the damage he sustained in his car crash, the cumulative effect of years of heavy drinking, and the frightful beating he took at the hands of Crawford, he will be eaten up and spat out at 154.
